Strange (unfamiliar to me) behavior after transplant

Hi everyone!

This is my first post after joinging the forum, thanks for having me!
Anyways…

Me and my ol lady opted to grow from seed this year instead of clones and we purchased four varieties from ILGM, all of which germinated and graduated to seedlings and now to full on plants!

The strains we selected are:
-Purple Kush
-Strawberry Cough
-Durban Poison
-Sunset Sherbet

We germinated one seed of each variety, at the very end of March 2024, and then we transplanted them to 20 gallon grow bags May 13, 2024, after spending a little time growing stronger as small seedlings.

All four plants showed this odd (to me) behavior right after transplant of their lower leaves turning white and papery the day after transplant (one picture below will show this). Three of the four fully recovered and are doing fantastic now! But the one in question is why I am asking for insight/help.

This poor Strawberry Cough lady has stayed pretty small (about 18" now compare to approx. 27" for the others) and more than anything, the coloring on the leaves is something I’ve never seen before. Pictures will show what I mean. shes almost like a bonsai. :frowning:

Initially, I thought she just needed CalMag (suppliments began approx. 9 days ago) and while that helped and her leaves are gradually regaining full
/normal color, she remains stunted and with that weird yellow-ish, crinkly texture to her leaves.

All the plants are outdoors in 20 gallon grow bags in “Recipie 420” soil with a little added perlite and blood meal mixed in before transplant (we went REALLY light on both ammendments, like 1/4 or maybe 1/3 of what the bags suggested).

Ph of our water here is an even 7.0, and outside a little CalMag, the only additional fertilizer the plants have received is a light dose/feeding of FoxFarms Grow Big (about 1/2 the bottle’s suggested quantity).

We do live in Portland, OR and the weather has been pretty bunk so far this year (generally upper 60s during the days and low 50s - upper 40s at night, with about a week of lovely 75 - 85 days and low 60s nights).

So my query is:
Has anyone seen anything like this before? (Probably?)
And if so, what is she trying to tell me?

I used to grow pot 20 someodd years ago, but that was all hydroponic from clones, and sheesh guys, over 20 years ago.

Anybody have any insight? Im really at a loss here and would sure appreciate input/suggestions/help!

Stay good. Hope to hear from you guys!
