Storing buds in a small refrigerator

Hey, I came across a mini refrigerator that I want to store my stash in. I will keep the buds in the Groove bags, door always closed lights off, set to medium. Is that better than a shoe box in the closet? How long before buds degrade?? Or should I just put the buds in the freezer?

Flower will store for years in a cool, dark, dry space.

The problem with refrigerators is that the average RH in a fridge is ~16%.

Will the Grove bags help?

If you use the mini fridge you will want to keep it on a very low setting so it doesn’t get too cold and you will want to vacuum seal the bags otherwise it will continue to suck moisture in the buds will get wet I’ve had bud in my mini ,vac sealed for almost 2 years still very nice I store all mine that way :v:t2:

Would keeping my weed in a Grove bag and putting it in the Freezer be better?? No humidity problem to deal with.

It will dry out if going in any fridge or freezer if not bagged properly grove bags need to be kept at the right temperature and the right humidity to work properly so it can breathe

Oh well, looks like buds go back into the shoebox. The fridge is good for my hash :yum:

I don’t use Grove bags for long term storage, rather use Mason Jars. Those go in a freezer and I have 5 year old flower that is as good as the day it went in.
