Sorry, that’s what I’m about to put them in. The pails are five parts zoodoo, two parts last years potting mix one part perlite. So mostly zoodoo

Good call. Cranked up the google machine and ILGM has an article on it

I was just reading up on a google search… Soil born fungi enters root hairs. :sob: :sob: :sob:

@Pet_de_Chien @beardless Good call Mr Chien and thanks Beardless. So basically, it’s in the soil and I’m done for. Chiquita Banana, Chemdawg, Pineapple Express, Big Bud, ACDC, Sexxpot, Green Crack, Super Silver Haze…etc etc

I have never had to deal with it. By the sounds of it, if a plant is infected there is not much that can be done for it.

thats rough

Damn, I know, that was my trip oversea’s with the kids, for 6 months… :sob:

Total bummer man.

I’ve got a Chiquita Banana, A Pineapple Express, a Super Silver Haze and a Bubba Kush each in 50 litre Airpots in different soil, so hopefully they will make it out alive, and I can tick off four. Those are really nice strains to grow I found, for a beginner, (Infected but nice was Somango XXL too). . Looks like it’s going to be living soil and autos next for plan B. But seriously, I don’t know how you guys manage indoor grows. It’s so much more complex. Hats off to all you indoor growers. So much harder, I wouldn’t even try.

You could try transplanting to a clear pot so sun gets to soil. Proon all damage aerate the soil and I crease drainage

i’ve had this same thing. you may want to check your drainage. if you cut off a stem it’s likely black on the inside.

Bad drainage can cause root issues I’m thinking you have some kind of root rot going on I had a plant last year die just like that. I was able to save maybe 6oz’s off of a 7ft plant. Threw away most of the plant one or two branches at a time over the last 4-5 weeks of flowering. One side of the plant was totally unaffected. That’s what makes me think it was a root issue.

I’ve got quite a bit of perlite in the mix, 1/7 plus 1/7 of coco coir. Drains pretty freely through the medium. It’s 30 degrees on the patio, with about 8hours of direct sunlight. They can’t go more than a day and a half without water, they start to wilt, and they are light as if I leave them that long. Plants are getting a bit big for 10 litre pails.

Hope this helps, good luck freind

Starts off small then spreads.

Here is one that is wilting because I got pissed off and haven’t watered them

the roots on the side do look a bit green.

That same post many advise hit it with a fungicide fast and hard, but yours is way farther along then that’s guts was. But it looks exactly the same to me.
So idk what to advise you to do. If I had more plants I’d probably treat it as if it had the black plague and carefully bag and tag it so it didn’t infect my others my self :man_shrugging:

I would say u have some kind pest eating ur stem it may have its home in ur stem
