Starting Seeds From Scratch, Sausages way

In conjunction with @Growdoc I’m dropping 4 Shogun from @Growdoc . These will likely go in 1 gallon pots or solo cups in the tent for fall/winter 26. My method is very simple. Will soak for 24 hours in 7.0 pH well water. Tomorrow they will go straight into presoaked, buffered coco.

Gotta be something else, I never heard of that strain! If it’s Snowblind, throw them away, they had the hermie trait and I burned all I had!

It was before the snowblind. Maybe these came from @RPgrower. When I first got here everyone shared a ton of seeds. I must’ve mixed em up.

Morning @SausageMahoney
Have a blessed Sunday everyone
Peace
:victory_hand:

Good day to you @thisis40

Yes sir RPG babies :grin::+1::+1:

Just tapped them and they all sunk. Tells me they are full of water. Will drop as soon as I get some coco ready

Coco just got drenched. In the pots firmly loose.

Everyone goes in about 1/4" to 1/2" poked hole. Cover lightly. Put under 12/12 light. Now we wait. Its damp coco so might take 2-3 days. No water. Only the water the seed soaked up. I want the coco to dry out and the soaked seed to be in a dry environment. Have a fan blowing to assist with drying.

I use shot glasses, distilled water and 3 or 4 drops of 3% peroxide. Placed on a seedling mat turned down low. If you have difficult to germinate seeds you can also drag them along an emery board to weaken the shell.

And viola, 4 light seekers.

Recap

  1. Soak 24 hours
  2. Into dry medium tails or not 1/2" deep
  3. Wait
  4. Once sprouted, wait 1 or 2 days before watering

Next logical step is : Seedling stage, Sausages Way.

We’ll water these up to veg stage. May just follows this out to flower?

Great post Sir @SausageMahoney :+1:

As your French tutor, I must add: it’s “voila” not “viola”.

Viola is a small violin… :winking_face_with_tongue:

I meant viola…
