If you are in lower Michigan it would be pretty easy to get you some. @Lunabudz929

@Dforce I love your setup. I bet raising them like that is so much more comfortable on your back when you prune! I thought about putting the 4 hydro buckets on a table top and get wheel of sorts and be able to rotate it. Keep all my stuff on the top and run the wires through the middle. Idk. I see that you are using the bucket system, too. How do you start your plants w hydro? I have an AeroGarden but so far nothing is taking off at all

I have been starting and growing in Coco. This is my 1st time with this water setup. Was going for automated but didn’t quite make it yet. This way I mix all nutrients in the Reservoir that has a pump and air stone, hosed to all the plants in Coco with ball valves. Pretty easy. 4 of them are in Promix HP and i hand water them. @Lunabudz929

Inching along. Not much to report yet. Clones are coming along and I popped my first autos. Popped 4. One has come up so far. Never grown them before. Gonna be fun

I’ve only done 4 auto’s so far, and as long as you keep the seedlings happy they do pretty well, they do better with some LST, at least they did for me

Gonna try to let them do their thang besides some pruning.

@Dforce i did that this grow with a few diff things. The one that made the biggest difference is a topped at the 4th and around a tomato cage. It was the first time I tried that, so it grew a little weird. I didn’t rotate it in the beginning and was in a corner so it had a side that was way off, so I grew it out like a corner piece, but when I chopped the other day, it clearly had the most. It was also the one that I had to do the least to after the buds developed, I’m thinking bc it was already opened up by the topping. I did like an outline with the branches. I topped several, unfortunately the only 3 that I mainlined ended up being boys and one I split by mistake and it never really recovered even after extensive repair. I opened the other ones up with pipe cleaners as they flowered, I did a lot of playing with this crop. It was oops after oops. But they harvested and are drying and some curing. I have 3 gallons of jars filled and I have 9 more plants. I gotta get a scale.

Thanks @BudzMS . The others are still hanging. I am dry trimming. Not sure what I like that best.

I’m almost ready to cure the rest of my plants and I’m out of supplies. I bought 3 diff kinds of ways to cure. I had 4 burp lids, 4 tropical herbz lids and a pound size grove bag. So far, the grove bag mad everything get so powdery instead of hydrates. No way this thing will work right. Smells like hay and pulverizes. The burp lid is cool idea. (-am I still supposed to put those humidity things in?) The other thing is just a plastic top and a rubber seal with a little hydrometer on the lid. Am I supposed to take the little packet out of the little packet? They don’t seem to be bringing my humidity up at all. They are diff than the boveda in a way. They don’t feel smooshie or liquify. They feel rigid and dry. Was thinking I’m missing a step or an item.

Any suggestions? I don’t want to ruin this!!!

I would make sure your buds are at 10%-12% with a moisture meter before starting the cure. Everything is gonna smell like hay for the first couple weeks of cure. Grove bags I used this run and I’ll never use anything else! Mindless and easy. They do the work!

Really? Maybe I did something wrong. I have a lot of weex drying. So I mess this up every time….I chopped 4 and just to dry trim. I put the branches in the 1lb grove bag and it dried the herb out even more. I thought that those bags were like built to replace the humid packs ? And those packs, are they supposed to be smooshy they feeek like
Cardboard. Like I’m supposed to open the pack. It’s tropical herbz jar top brand.

@Fatz1973 good morning my friend. And good morning to the Forum. Hope everyone had a good night’s rest hope you all have a great day. Just messing around this morning germinating a few seeds that come out of my godfather OG. I figured it crossed with that Sour Diesel that hermed. But you never know I might turn out to be some good bud. Speaking of some good bud here’s a couple of pictures of one of my nicer Super Silver Haze buds I got off of this last one

this strain here has one awesome taste I love it and my uncle does too. It amazes me the difference in the taste of different strands some of them just awesome like this one and The Godfather OG. Some of the best tasting weed I’ve ever smoked.:yum::yum::yum::rofl::rofl::v::raising_hand_man:

So you may have seen this thread already but been helpful for me learning how to use the Grove bags

What’s going down @BudzMS @Dforce @GreggT @Lunabudz929 @Zudnik @JaneQP @RPgrower @Jonesy287 and anyone I may have missed that has dropped in the past few days. @JaneQP I place tennis balls under my back before I fall asleep for awhile. I can usually find good pressure points on direct muscle areas and because the TB is soft there is some give. I have a Sleep Number Bed and set my firmness at 100 and can still use the TB. It’s good for pinpointing stubborn muscles.
@RPgrower you know I love some super silver haze!!! Hope your uncle is holding down the fort!! Please give your wife my best wishes for a most comfortable SuperBowl Sunday. Who does she think is going to win? Let me know before kickoff so I can throw $100 at the Book. :pray:t2::pray:t2: @BudzMS just trying to get myself straightened out literally. The past few days I’ve felt like such an old man. I’m 49 and I’ve been knocked out twice in my life but I still think back pain took me to the floor quicker. :joy::joy::joy:
@Dforce your update was beautiful. Your plants always look healthy and happy. Are you looking to relieve yourself of watering duties completely with this half and half experiment? I look forward to that outdoor clone jungle!!!
@Lunabudz929 those buds are beautiful looks like a great harvest. I am not well schooled in drying and curing so I will not expound. I have a multi process function for drying and curing. I’m hoping by the time my Joyce is ready to harvest I will have my Cannatrol.
@GreggT sorry this process has taken in the longevity of a soap opera for you. I’m glad your clones are hanging on and waiting for their turn in the light. Hopefully your weather breaks for the better and your guys can get in a solid week to finish strong. Thank you all for coming by and commenting. Love the community conversation!! Enjoy the game everyone!!!
