getting ready to do indoor for first time need some guidenson light and vent for 11x9x7 room 2x1000 haligens i read you want eather 8inch inand 6 out or the other way 8 out and 6 in any suggetions welcome grow out for 30 years and made lots of mistakes but had a fun journey but do not want yo waste my time also looking at indice alwayse been sativa out door dont know what to think of these little plants i like at least a 2 lb plant but that not happening with indica lots to learn think god for you fellow growers and i love to grow group wish we could have had this 30 years ago would of saved a lot of tough lessons

Welcome to forum. Im not knowledgeable enough to help on your venting but id say go with the 8" as with MH or HPS there is a lot of heat being emitted. Also you may need more light for that size space. I have a 4x4x6 grow tent running 400 watt mh & hps & for veg the mh is enough but i need more power for flower. Cant get the stretch & big buds with this light. However i do pull a pound & half with this system but coild do better.
I m doing indica inside and getting 533 grams per plant average my critical bilbo was 648grams i don’t see why you couldn’t achieve a 2lb in that big of a space. Im using a 4x4x6 tent with mh/hps lights. I use 2 600w hps mh lights also your footage 11x9=99×50 watts a sq foot =4950 watts for your grow area i go a quarter over that but up to you . 11×9×7=693 cubic feet so probably a 800 cfm fan for exhaust i don’t remember the intake number math right now but hop this helps you and good luck.

Indoor growing is a lot different than outdoor growing. 2 pounds per plant is asking a lot. It would be plenty reasonable to get pounds per harvest in your room, probably even more. But you would need to do some serious training to even have a shot at pulling that per plant.
thats for the heads up on the lights taught lots of our future generation smokers to do it right or not to waste there time thought i new a lot .but this new age of indoor makes me feel like a idiot. need to look into new strain .i have grow the same strain of holland hash pot for thirty years and lots of fun crossing with all diffrent strins even indic and lebanes to get a branch every oneeight inch and bud every half inch usually average 2 to 3 lbs a plant but i dont think they will do good inside . thanks again time to wake and bake

i have seen lots of people growing indoors they always have tiny plants that dont make a ounce . iaiwas thought wat was the point but if i can get to thoser kind of numburs you have my interest.alwas preaced you cant beat our naturl light but they have come a long ways. looking forword to my new adventure my state just made it wear farmers are starting to grow hemp just a matter of time before they are to close

always had a geen thumb and back in those days there wasnt much help out there except a few good growers and you had to be around a long time and pay your does before they would lead you in the right direction,now every thing at your fingers tips and a few good people like this form to help. im not afraid to work at it the journey just as fun as the harvest
