This is my first attempt it’s been more than 4 months , I’m lost
Judging by the pistils, with out examining the trichomes, she looks ready.
Thanks, since this is my first time attempting all this , could you give me a little detail on what I should do to examine throughly to see if she ready
Trichomes are examined under a microscope or jewelers loupe. Can’t be seen close enough with the naked eye.
Ok when examining that part of the plant , what am I looking for to know it’s time to harvest … from reading different articles and etc seems to me I been growing the plant way longer than expected
Here’s a ripeness chart to help tell when it’s ready.
And make sure you’re looking at the bud not the small sugar leaf as they’ll amber before the buds.
@Covertgrower and @Oldguy have you covered. Enjoy!
They both look like they are ready to chop.
Dont let the old leaves fool you, its just past ready and will be a heavy sedated effect.
Thats what happens first
Do you know the temp and humidity of the room where it is hanging?
Temp is 72 degrees with fan blowing , humidity I do not… I am new so I didn’t know about the humidity device … my next step up I will have everything lol
Hey fellas, i believe i have no actual bud on my plant while it’s drying , how can i tell i have a smoke able plant
Pictures?
I can see the flowers in there. And trichomes.
Thanks can’t wait to start the process over with right equipment , i will keep the group informed
