Staggered harvest, please info on bottom half, thx in advance

I have a question on the end of harvest, 3 plants harvested(the bomb) bottom half of last plant is being stubborn. Trying to get some amber in trichomes, 100 power microscope saying not yet. I brought temp down to mid 60’s and extended dark time to 13-14 hrs off, to encourage maturity, no help yet. Any suggestions trichomes are fully cloudy. First half you have to call tower and ask permission for takeoff haha.

All cloudy not bad. Most potent thc. Little amber is nice but not end of world as long as mini.al clear. Give it one more week. Try lowering ppfd for few days with your above assistance as well. 48 hr darkness may help a sliver as well. Nice looking flower by the way. Lastly, sometimes some just dont finish perfect no matter what you do.

I agree, drop your light intensity down a notch or so… try to mimic fall as much as possible.

Thank You very much, sounds like another bit of solid advice, nothing to lose now 3.5 plants are either curing or drying. Staggered harvest is sort of new to me. I’m just curious maybe you have answer. Say you have tops at 20-30% amber if hRvest whole plant flowers towards middle are not there yet. This type of harvesting is time consuming though, but with high potency cannabis may be worth extra time

I stage harvest all the time. Very little weight increase but will ripen well. Couple of weeks will do it.

Thank You, I believe you’re right, didn’t seem any increase in yield, especially as have been flushing I’m sure have deleted all stored sugars, and. Nutrients , thx again for input.

I personally do not flush. I feed to the end. Plant still alive and eating till we kill them. Science shows no discernable difference. Always a choice on that. 2 camps for sure.

Would be nice to harvest all at once for sure. Sometimes tho harvesting in stages makes less pain for trimming. But i prefer to ultra suffer for 2 to 3 days and just being done. Trimming…is tbe absolute and only thing that sucks. To answer your question better, its rare to harvest all plants same time unless there clones or your outdoors and out of time. Me personally, harvest all the same, but always growing with clones. So there all done at the same time, grow the same, stay consistently even… for the most part anyway. If top of plant is good…i just harvest entire plant and not just the tops. Its all preference. I will say in my grows, believe it or not, the lower buds get more amber and trichomes while the tops getting crushed with lights and biggest buds are slightly behind. I attribute that to the higher ppfd. As stated b4, some plants will just keep throwing white hairs and clear trichomes (not all of course) with higher ppfd. 700 to 750 ppfd for me at most in the final 1 to 2 weeks.

Thanks everybody, great info
