Help on time to harvest

I have harvested, took a hundred power microscope and checked sugar leaves at top. 20-30% amber, but I don’t think this is indicative of entire plant as kolas at top ripen earlier than flowers underneath. Is this to early as was worrying about trichomes converting to can. Would like to keep psychoactive and not couch lock. Please need advice.

Nice looking plants! Cant say much on harvesting but i do know you want to check the pistols>sugar leafs as the sugar leafs mature faster from my understanding. I have also seen people harvest the plants in sections leaving lower parts to finish ripening.

Im sure a more experienced grower will chime in soon :call_me_hand:

Little to no amber for high level of THC, amber=couchlock
Progressive harvesting a plant is not uncommon. I will take main colas off and let the rest of the plant go for another week, even two. Cloudy trichomes are the key to max THC. Amb er trichomes have more CBN than THC, CBN gives greater couchlock experience

Beautiful girl I bet when she’s cured she will be awesome. Do you use humidity control packs in your jars?

Yes I actually use 2-3 medium Boveda and a small temp. Humidity meter in each amber colored 32 ounce mason jar. I won’t sample for 3-4 weeks.
