Staggered harvest issues?

Okay so I have this huge autoflower that I started a staggered harvest on about 5 days ago. I took about 20% the first round and haven’t taken anything since. Now it seems like shes totally slowed down ripening and back to building more calyx. Anyone ever staggered a harvest and seen this??

Welcome to the forum! I have had staggered harvests on photos where I left the lower buds in for 2 weeks and they plumped up and ripened. I imagine autos can do the same.

I top mine, at the 6th node early like day 27. My first chop is my two mail colas, and One node beneath it. So 4 branches.
I raise the plant to the height the main colas are and let it go til I think it’s good. Then I take the rest and put it on mesh racks to dry.
I’d say I take 20%
Was your plant vigorously growing before?
If not, then yeah, don’t.
If it is, go for it .
With an Automatic, timing is everything.

Ive done it and never noticed thst. All my lower larfy stuff budded up nicely. I plan on harvesting that way on my photo when the time comes. Just watch the trichomes.

Welcome to the community!

Thanks everybody. After the first chop on the 15th she’s just slowed way down. Now it’s like the tri’s are creeping forward in ripening super slow. I mean she’s still moving forward but lesson learned… maybe no staggered harvests on an auto lol. She’s been a stressed out plant her whole grow… very finicky. I’ve got climate on point now that she’s made me buy all this equipment lol. I have a vivosun tent with all sorts of vivosun equipment. I guess I just wait it out.
