Spudgunner's Clone Grow

Thanks @Dforce and @Bentstick. I checked the trichs on the CBD plant, all cloudy few amber, and on another Sleepy Joe which also cloudy but a bit more amber. So the chopped one won’t have as much amber as I like, but can’t complain for outdoors! Always a crapshoot outside.

I’m late to the party, congrats. They look giant hanging there. Getting those shears sharpened would probably be your best move from here… LOL

Top and bottom, same plant! Had to cut her in half to wash her, and so she’d fit in the cellar. Telling ya, house sure smells nice!

Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, cooking a turkey and all the trimming! What better way to start the day than with a puff and a chop of the other 3 outdoor girls! Weather and time are against me, neither looking good after this weekend, so T I M B E R !!!

First up was the Mighty Quin CBD. In the sunshine her buds jus sparkle against the purple backdrop.

Did a major fan leaf removal prior to cut and bud wash.

Drip drying against the fence while I go to the next one!

A bud off of the Sleepy Joe, not the polyploid plant.

After trim

And after wash and rinse

By the time I got to the polyploid, time and motivation were both fleeing. Need to get that turkey in the oven soon! I did clean off a few more leaves after this pic was taken, but the Mrs. Hyde side is just a mess of straggly leaves.

But she cleaned up nice after her bath!

So these have joined the first one cut from the other day, it’s drying nicely down there. Gotta get that turkey smell going, cover up the smell of fresh weed!

Happy growing all!

Thanks @MartyMarajuanaseed and @Bentstick had to take them due to incoming rot. I find another bud every day getting it and it’s going to get rainy and cold for a week or so. No frost here yet tho!

But I’m done with growing outdoors, for this year at least!

Hey sorry for the rot and stuff due to the weather, I am happy you are harvesting what you got congratulations man hope it’s great smoke my friend. I wanted to mention something kinda new that might help with outdoor grows for northern areas, have you heard of early versions? They are mixed with the Ruderalis strain, but instead of autoflowering, they instead flower when hours of light are starting to change to lesser amount, sooner than most normal photos, and they take less time to ripen, 6.4 weeks of flower. Harvest for the ones my daughter did was late Aug to mid Sept. I grow them in my indoor grow and they transition fast after the flip and do finish quickly as my current grow shows, my Bay burger is a early version, and I have other e/v’s that did the same. Maybe worth looking into for next year :innocent: have a great weekend my friend @Spudgunner

Thank @MartyMarajuanaseed they held out longer than I thot they would! I should have started putting them under the gazebo a few weeks earlier, they got soaked for a week and I’m sure some moisture go trapped in there with some dead matter. But it wasn’t much that I lost, probably less than a half ounce dried so minimal!

The place I get my seeds has some 420 Fast Buds Bruce Banner I might get for next year outdoors. Has a 7 to 9 week flower time. Either that or autos, but last year’s auto went 222 days before I chopped, had to bring her back into the tent until November!

My outdoor grows are more for shits’n’giggles. When I lived in the Co-op a few years ago, I’d get clones for neighbours and we’d have a grow competition, just the folks that lived there (this was after legalization!). I still gift clones to these folks for their patios, I take more than enough of them! Altho not sure about next year, their interest has died down since I’m not there…bad influence?

I seen them advertised; where you get your seeds ftom, 420 Fast Buds… i am wondering if theres a big difference in the seeds ILGM has compared to other places. Is there a thing about who sales the better genetics?
That would be fun to grow outdoors dodging the rain and bugs and everything that goes along without a controlled environment. Have you ever grown any autoflowering seeds outdoors?

ILGM doesn’t ship to Canada. My place, theseedfair <.> com gets seeds from a bunch of seed banks depending on strain.

I grew that Medgom auto last year that took 222 days. Started early indoors, moved outdoors, then had to move her back in as the weather soured in October, harvested mid-November. I also did some Bruce Banner autos outside. They threw a few nanners and I got 18 seeds. Of 6 that I germed, 4 grew and I’m smoking that right now! Great weed! But I grew the offspring inside, the outside originals were great smoke too.

I need to get my poop in a group this spring and find some covert spots outside, Then I might do some autos or fast versions. Maybe in 2026 I will do a New Year’s fast version grow and clone it for that spring, scatter a bunch of fast clones in the hills. Time and health and motivation dependent!

Thats what the hard part is; keeping them out of view so know one steals them. I grew a few plants outdoors, the first ever and they ended up being males anyhow. I was 17 years old and couldn’t figure out why they wouldn’t grow buds. Back then all we had was High Times magazine and i had no clue back then. I grew them on the edge of a cliff thinking that know one would go there. For sure, know one did. Find places people avoid due to hazards. No one wanted to fall off a cliff so it was pretty desolate.

Cellar dweller update! Flip for these ladies was 30 days ago. For little ladies, they seem to be budding nicely! Still have lots of height left and they are done the stretch. YAY!

There’s 13 in there, hoping to get 4 or 5 big buds from each plus a bunch of larfy stuff that’s always there.

Some of the nicer buds

And then there’s this clone…I pulled her sister from the tent, this one also has wimpy wispy branches. Don’t know how much bud she can support, and she is shorter than the others too, so not getting as much light. Everything going against her at the moment.

So don’t know if she’ll last to the next photo shoot or not…real estate is getting valuable in the cellar right now!

That could also be because I have the 4 outside ladies drying down there too!

The clump on the left is the plant I cut a few days ago, almost dry now, probably take if off the stem later today. BC Hydro is replacing a transformer tomorrow so will be without power from 9:30am to 2:00pm, and Wednesday I have to take the DIL’s mother to the airport  She’s been here 4 or 5 weeks, time to go! So yeah, might have to do that one plant later today, then the other 3 might make it until the weekend.

Happy growing all!
