Sure is a beauty. My cbd hybrids have been my favorites to grow, and to smoke. Good day to ya Spud
Appreciate it @Jaysittinback . I should smoke more of that Medgom CBD I grew last year. But have this one’s mother jarred up, should be cured enough to open a jar up to taste!
Welcome to rainy October in BC! Today was nice, but starting 5am tomorrow she will be coming down until midnight. Since we are getting more rain early next week, I took the ladies out of their fenced enclosure and put them in the middle of the lawn. Tonight when I go out for my evening puff, I’ll put them beside the hot tub under the gazebo where you can see the tiles. It’s 12 feet of protection!
Then Saturday I’ll put them back in the sun until Monday night. Rinse and repeat…not! Already found 2 spots of bud rot on my best clone, hoping keeping them drier helps!
@DEEPDIVERDAVE at least this year I’m not time-constrained. As long as the weather holds out and I can keep them dry, I’m letting them ripen, hoping for another 2 weeks. S’posed to be good until the 14th, then rains for 10 days. So prolly the 14th they will get the chop.
Grow well, friends!
I am time constrained, again this year.
Rain coming and I am leaving, Tue.
Start the new grow 11/1, I hope.
Unfortunately, my plants can’t travel.
Good thing forum access can travel with me.
Addicted to growing and need to learn so much, still.
Nice set up man… sweet…
Thanks @MartyMarajuanaseed it works for the space I have and the life constraints I deal with (dog and grandkid!). Except last night while I was out and moved the plants under cover then a puff, Sheba ran by with a bud in her mouth! Found 3 more smaller ones on the grass in front of the gazebo! Checked this morning and it was a lower branch, only a medium sized bud-producing limb, so not too pissed.
But now I have some early samples drying!
Years of “training dogs” and never learned to give treat rewards for teaching successes. Never bribed the dogs. However, puppy learning is fantastic and fast, if food rewards are utilized in teaching.
Sheba is your quality control agent?
Undersized or good quality smoke confirmation?
Lower branch bud so it is larfy looking. She can’t reach the top buds, they are standing up tall. I’ll leave the buds to dry in the cellar for a week before testing. Luckily she didn’t eat any, she just loves ripping some plants apart. Loves to pull the heads off dandelions.
@Spudgunner @DEEPDIVERDAVE
This is why i opted for cats when i decided i wanted to adopt a pet. They already get it. No training nessassary. They’re either perched somewhere watching me or the TV or off sleeping somewhere out of the way. No bribes needed. Unconditional love is there to stay.
Thot I’d share a couple of sunsetting girls! These come down on the 14th, last day of good weather before a nasty spell.
Polyploid with her “normal” looking side giving off some nice purple-reddish hues, while the buds on the right side are green and fine-leaved. Mrs Jekyll and Miss Hyde!
The CBD plant is fiery red and dark orange. Buds are filling out, no rot on this one yet. Only found it on one plant so far, about 5 buds with minor browning. I’ll snip them off tomorrow.
It was really pretty a while ago when the late afternoon sun was hitting them, all 4 praying away. beautiful site to behold!
Enjoy!
absolute beauties!!
Thanks @doober! Wish I could attach an odour! They smell great too!
The red and orange is looking really pretty.
Thanks, sort of reminds me of a tequila sunshine!
Frame a leaf! Seriously, mash it in a picture frame!
Well, today I had enough! Looked at them again and the one who has been getting the rot spots, has a couple more. Chop chop!
Bud wash and rinse, dripped outside for a bit, and here she is hanging in the cellar! There’s a fan on low about 6 feet from the 2 halves, and will probably get 5 days to dry before I have to trim. Sunday or Monday works, altho I plan on taking the other 3 down next Monday, if they last that long!
There’s a bus stop 25 feet from where these are growing, and I did a quick leaf rip of the big fans, sure made the area smell nice! The bus did go by, nobody was waiting at the stop but someone did get off. Always wonder if people recognize the fragrant aroma of fresh bud!
Oh yeah, while I was hanging this downstairs, Sheba snipped a small branch off my CBD plant! So I have a sample of that drying too!
Stay safe!
Harvest congratulations my friend!
Thanks @kaptain3d glad I did it when I did, it’s pissing down rain again now! They were all put under cover of gazebo last night, and then tomorrow for the next 6 days are supposed to be sun/cloud/no rain!
Love the smell of sticky fingers!
Harvest Congrats to you Sir
Congrats on hanging em @Spudgunner !
