Spots on Some Leaves and Others Yellow

Hello,

This is my second grow and just this week my leaves have started turning colors and getting spots. Can someone provide some direction on what I am doing wrong

This is my second grow and here are details if matters.

Photos
Planted 8/5
Flipped 9/9
No nutrients, just water

Any ideas on what is happening and what to do to correct? Also, can I get rid of the fan leaves or are they good for something?

Thanks everyone and have great week

Pics at buds should help ! If it swelling she sure draw nutes from leaves.

Soil nutrients have been used up so there’s a mineral imbalance and pH went too high or low.
A pH tester and a TDS tester will tell you what’s in and what to put back in. And it’s time to add some nutes or plant food.
She’s eating the fan leaves to get minerals out of them because not enough in soil, leave them on for now unless you got an airflow problem

What’s your feeding/ watering routine and medium? Have you been monitoring input PH/PPMs as well as the run off of these 2 :love_you_gesture:

I used Promix soil from WalMart and just been using tap water daily. I have not been monitoring anything, I just planted and let it ride like I did my first plant.

I do have some Bergmans plant food. Any recommendation on good tester? Is it okay for me to trim these fan leaves or let them fall off naturally?

Thanks for the info, I will grab some pics of the buds and upload later this evening.

Hi I’ve only used one tester and it was the cheapest, so cant recommend any. Hard to say about the leaves, to each his own kinda thing. Just dont let them get so bushy air cant flow thru the plant. I pick them off when brown or dead

Im not expert and your plant look healthy af for no nutrient given

I grow with 0 nutes at first time and they’re deficiency when fully transitions. I believe they can grow but fert in soil have to be enough.

Judge from buds pic would tell a time left for her. If she almost finish you can continue with plain pH water.from OP it not clearly to say but a couple week left, bloom fertilizer should covering. However wait for expert go input!

Well done my friend for no inputs!
I would limp her along and let her finish up.

The problem you see is probably either soil ph issues or she’s hungry. I don’t recommend feeding her without the proper tools as more harm can be done than good.

I do recommend a good water PH and PPM meter that way you can monitor what goes in and what comes out which is very important in detecting problems quickly and correcting them.

I just was able to get some pics snapped of one of the buds from the harlequin that is having issues.

Let me know if I need a better pic

Nice pic! Your buds bulking right now. She need nutrients for that. If leaves discolored at lower part, i would not bother feeding her now like Auto said above. My guess is 1-2weeks and checking trichs

Thanks and I ordered meters from Amazon earlier this week and they arrived today. Here is where I stand

Blue Dream Auto (appears to be close to harvest) - 6.1 ph/806ppm
Jokerz Photo - 5.1ph/ 842ppm
Harlequin Photo - 5.1ph/815ppm
Harlequin Photo - 5.5ph/285ppm (checked 3x)

So I am not sure what steps to take or if I should let them limp along. I do have Bergmans flower time fertilizer available and was thinking about feeding, but now I am not so sure what to do.

Any suggestions?

You could feed them flower time at about 1000ppm and a ph of 6.5

Thanks for the recommendation. How often should I check PPM and PH? Also, once I get to 1000/6.5, do I just resume with water only and feed when they drop below 1000/6.5?

Yea, pretty much. Most people will feed/water/feed/water. This late into flower just try to get the ph back up to normal and keep somewhere in the 700-1000 ppm mark to help them across the finish line.

Thank you so much.
