South central Maine auto advice?

I’m going to be growing Durban Poison autos in south central Maine, in cloth pots. Does anyone have tips, tricks, or advice to share regarding this specific growing scenario? Its early April right now and was going to start them about May 20 directly outdoors. Or not, if that’s not best. Thanks!!!

@TrichHunter420 is up around your area. What type of soil and nutrients are you planning to use?

Hey neighbor
It’s not nice enough May 20 for babies especially autos that need a trouble-free start. Maybe if you get them into veg and toughened up by May 20.
I’d aim to finish them in late August

@Squatch For me here , first to middle of June seems to be best for putting plants out full time.
Much before that and like Jay said , the weather is too cold and wet. Stunts the little ones and an auto won’t recover any size before flower sets in.
I’d give them at least a month , maybe 6 weeks inside to get established enough to take the weather before going out.
