Sorry for nipping at fingers

Hello all
Blue Dream - ilgm fem
47 days from seedling
Hydr dwbubble

  • water in at about 5.5. Check every day at trickle feed (had a incident) keeps solid 6ish thru out week.
  • about 4 gallon per bucket
  • 1/2 to 1in from bucket.
Feeding Mendocino 30-10-10 at .3 strength
Sf1000 light 18" above top o plant at 80% until recent now at %100.
  • 24hrs light.

I am quite happy so far and plan on going to flower on day 53/Halloween. I am asking for any issues you might see. My experience is all gorilla grows in the 80s and 90s in my tri-state. Heck, blew my mind I can order female genetics and autos? Seriously?
I apologize to the fingers I snapped at. I shall endeavor to avoid that in future.

Cal/Mag deficiency, perhaps. Something is crisping up your leaves a bit and causing lower leaves to discolor prematurely.

5.5 is lower than I’d go, personally, and 6.0 is about as high as I’d be willing to let it drift.

This seems like a wild amount of N - I’d start shifting to something more flower friendly after you flip.

PS if you’re not using Hydroguard, I highly recommend it to avoid root rot or anything gross making its way into your res and doing damage. :v:

Welcome. I missed the drama but that’s okay.

Am planning on flipping on 31st. Should I start flower nutes before I flip? Also, run flower nutes - mendocino flower 9-21-12 - at 0.3 recommended strength or maybe hotter?

Do you have a tds meter? I’d aim for target PPMs in my water rather than guess at strength of my nutes. One brand’s full strength is another’s 1/4 strength. I’d be aiming around 1200ppms in for flower to start and roll from there.

My plan is for next grow to be more accurate with ph and nute. I want to kinda see how much I can stumble along and still get good flower. I also am taking copious notes for next grow.

You can stumble and probably still get flower. Not sure about good but :man_shrugging: absolutely your call.

You can do hydro without it but it’s MUCH harder. For a small investment you can dial your conditions in. Really not enough information to be able to add any diagnosis.

I feel pretty positive about my grow. The only real thing I keep hearing is that I need to purchase better testing equipment and not that there is a obvious problem.

I am going to finish this grow out with the equipment I have. The info in Cannabis Grow Bible ed3 says I am ballpark and If thats not good enough to grow good flower, I truly mean no disrespect, its nice having peers to discuss this with but its not science.

Thank you for your input.

Cal or Mag deficiency, as stated above. Excess nitrogen, as stated above. To your point, it will still grow. Will it be amazing? Maybe. Will it be the worst weed you’ve ever had? Definitely not.

Botany is literally a scientific field.

PS - I’m out of likes.

Out of likes? This is a popularity contest? Dang, I am screwed.

 no, the software engine the forum runs on “rations” how many times you can click the heart on peoples’ posts. It’s how I let people know I read something even if I don’t have anything to say or don’t have time to respond. so I’m frequently out of likes/heart clicks on posts.
