I miss it like crazy. I lived in Cleveland for 26 years, we know snow
Snows very good and personally therapeutic for me. Nothing like sitting out on the deck watching it snow and accumulate into this beautiful white atmosphere.
Until you have to shovel it, then itâs like the gift from the devil himself.
WhewâŚ. Another near disaster. I canât seem to be able to judge the timing right on feeding and the plants have proven to not be very flexible.
I was on a 3 day schedule.

Monday 7am - Thursday 7am

Sometimes by Wednesday at 5pm they are wilted and sometimes theyâre ok till the next morning per regular schedule.
Itâs been a struggle. Iâm wondering if they are root bound in the 5gal fabric pots. My guess is yes. Not sure Iâm in a position to now mess with them to put into 7.5/10g. Really canât afford for them to get much biggerâŚ.
Many people use 5gal for photos. I agree 7-10 is better. Nevertheless, I doubt there root bound. You need to get out of the habit of scheduled waterings.
Once or twice a day simply pick up the pot. Itâs only four plants. Theyâre getting older and bigger. Theyâre requiring more to drink. Train yourself to do the âpick up the potâ routine daily and youâll avoid underwatering.
@Lostgirl - Looks like theyâre calling for 3-5â of snow here tonightâŚâŚ weâll seeâŚâŚ
Anyway, quick update:
Plants look 100% on point brother.
All we got is snow here it seems this year.
We just got home from Key West last night, left just in time. Even the weather down in Florida sucks. Rained 2 of the 5 days and those two days were in the lower 60âs. We did have 2 really nice days though
What you doing in the keys?
Fishing and relaxing. It was fantastic. Love the culture there.
Open and free, good vibes.
My son did a great job watching over the plants while gone.
Yeah itâs definitely serenity. Glad you got away for a spell and enjoyed yourself. Big ups to your son
