Something going on with my outdoor grow

I miss it like crazy. I lived in Cleveland for 26 years, we know snow

Snows very good and personally therapeutic for me. Nothing like sitting out on the deck watching it snow and accumulate into this beautiful white atmosphere.

Until you have to shovel it, then it’s like the gift from the devil himself.

Whew…. Another near disaster. I can’t seem to be able to judge the timing right on feeding and the plants have proven to not be very flexible.

I was on a 3 day schedule.

  • Monday 7am - Thursday 7am

  • Sometimes by Wednesday at 5pm they are wilted and sometimes they’re ok till the next morning per regular schedule.

It’s been a struggle. I’m wondering if they are root bound in the 5gal fabric pots. My guess is yes. Not sure I’m in a position to now mess with them to put into 7.5/10g. Really can’t afford for them to get much bigger….

Many people use 5gal for photos. I agree 7-10 is better. Nevertheless, I doubt there root bound. You need to get out of the habit of scheduled waterings.

Once or twice a day simply pick up the pot. It’s only four plants. They’re getting older and bigger. They’re requiring more to drink. Train yourself to do the “pick up the pot” routine daily and you’ll avoid underwatering.:thought_balloon:

We just got home from Key West last night, left just in time. Even the weather down in Florida sucks. Rained 2 of the 5 days and those two days were in the lower 60’s. We did have 2 really nice days though

What you doing in the keys?

Fishing and relaxing. It was fantastic. Love the culture there.

Open and free, good vibes.

My son did a great job watching over the plants while gone.

Hey @Lostgirl hope all is well.

I fed yesterday and the runoff was a bit high (1200-1300), fed at 550ppm. I mixed water for two feedings so the remaining water I diluted down for the next feeding and plan on running a little more water through them.

Anyway, in general the plants are looking good but one plant has some marking on the leaves. Not sure what it is, thoughts?

Overall pictures of the plants: man, they stinky :open_mouth:

I should mention it’s only the top leaves on this one plant. P deficiency?

Another picture of one of the plants during feeding yesterday. They’re squished in the tent :face_with_peeking_eye:

Looks like a phosphorus deficiency and potentially some heating issues with the curling of the leaves but you say it’s on the top it could be the light and the lack of phosphorus.

On your next feed cut out all additives except big buds and just use base nutrients. Give her a double shot of Bloom and that should replenish her and make it better. They look great

If you got to go lighter on micro and grow to get the extra bloom you can do so

I did move the lights up a bit but none of the other plants showing signs of burn. I was thinking Phosphorus as well but wondered if it can be zinc or an iron excess?

It’s the classic look of phosphorus

@Lostgirl followed your lead, today was the 2nd watering with increased Bloom (mixed 2 days worth of nutrients).

Runoff was around 875-1000 on 3 plants, the other plant was higher around 1400 (same plant with the worse looking leaves). One other plant starting to show small signs of same deficiency.

Should I go back to my original nute schedule now?

And I don’t know what’s up with this website but uploading pictures is a challenge these days…… was not able to upload……

If you gave the plants the extra boost twice already then yes I would go back to regular nutrients.

I would do the next feed with Base only no additives.

Did the original plant start looking better?

I feel like it progressed a bit worse since last week. It looks like a 2nd plant is starting to show some signs of the same thing.

I’m generally they all look healthy. The main plant with the issue (#3) runoff was higher than expected (1400) while the others were around 900 when I fed yesterday.

This strain is known for black leaves, they’re starting to show too.

1400 isn’t ridiculous. You can always run an additional gallon through her next time you feed to lower that back into range.

I think it’s a little premature to think of a flush try one or two Base only nutrient feeds. (No additives) This is always been a cure-all for me and I believe you seen it prove successful before as well.

Try that, keep me updated if anything gets worse
