Soil ph to high in organic grow

Hi guys my plant is in the second week of flower and my soil ph is high around 7.8-8.5 how can i drop that down should i water with a lower ph water say around 6.0 or is there something else i can do

What’s your ph meter, sounds more like a calibration issue then soil, if it was that high you’d be running into tons of absorption issues

I have a good ph meter

It is calibrated properly

Ive been doin my ph around 6.8 is what ive been told to do from people on here that do organic grows

What is going in and what nutrients or additives are you giving them?

Also how much run off do you have?

Its call healthy earth volcanic rock dust fertilizer

From what I see that will raise PH in soil. I am not familiar with it so I am going off what I can find.

Correction, that is 50% Silica, that will raise PH.

I dealt with this recently wasn’t fun, if that silica is locked traces continue to raise the PH. Unless I’m off on that product, I’d recommend getting some of the silica flushed out.

I have done a flush on it a few days ago i have managed to bring the ph down now by using 2 teaspoons of dissolved coffee powder

All i know is if my soil ph is high my girl wont be getting the nutrients she needs for flowering stage and i want those big fat buds

I run my own coco blend so different, but when I noticed this with mine I just continued to PH my water as it should be but with no nutrients, every other water I add a bit of florakleeen to push a bit more.

See theres a lot of products yous get in the USA that we dont get here in Australia ,i normally ph my water around 6.8 like i was told on here, see im doin a coco coir with peat moss and perlite mix in ,

Then your PH is too high.

Coco is inert, so it should be around 5.6-5.8.

I PH my water to 5.8, my coco nutrients will also PH to this range.

Thats wat i was doin it at but i got told its too low , i just checked my ph of my soil its between 6.0-7.0 now looks like i have fixed the problem

I will be goin back to a ph of 5.8 for my water

5.8 is what I put in. 5.5-6.8 this is coco’s neutral range. If you can get to 5.6-5.8 or even just 5.8-6.0 you’re good for flower.

Thank you so much
