Soil ph to high in organic grow

See this is my first time growing with organics still learning about ph for soil and for the water but what i have noticed is that you dont get all the hassles that u get when using bottled nutrients like nute burn and deficiencies and if u do get something its easier to fix

Hey there, are you referring to your run off readings here?
I feed and water between 5.5 - 5.8 for my coco grows

No not run off readings actual soil ph im talking about

Ah ok. Thanks

As @PiratedSoldier atated that silica will send your PH to the roof. I can liquid silica to my 7.1 PH water and it come out at 8.9. Hydrated dolomite lime used as a soil drench will stabilize your medium usually around 7.0, feeding at the lower PH range for the next several times should get her back in line :love_you_gesture:

I don’t know how to check soil PH. My water was testing 7.6 so I added a little lemon juice and lowered it to 6.2. Should I lower it more?

6.2 is the lowest you want to go with water ph if want to do a soil ph test take some soil from about two inches down in ur pot place it in neutral pH water and mix it well let sit for a few minutes make sure its quite Watery cause u will stick ur ph pen in the slurry and it should give u a ph of ur soil anywhere between 6.3-6.8 is good
