Yes, you lower your medium PH by watering or feeding at a lower PH. Optimum soil PH is 6.5. Is that 7.3 from a run off sample or slurry test?
Yes bluelab soil ph pen
From using bluelab soil ph pen
Ty but i use ph down for only water ph but can it be used for soil ph also? If so, how may i apply it?
Your soil PH adapts to what you put into it. Are mixing nutrients then adjusting PH?
This is with coco but also applies to soil. I was a couple weeks into flower and the coco’s pH was higher than I wanted or should be. I flushed with 11 gallons of 5.7 - 5.8 pH’d water. I suspected calcium had built up and was causing the high pH (calcium is alkaline). It took several days of pumping 3-4 gallons a day. After each flush I had to feed since I really had no idea what was there to feed the plant. The work paid off. It’s pH is now 5.8 and has some room to increase during the remainder of its flower stage.
