Can any give me insight on using living soils. I think i want to get away from bottle nutrients. Looking into sohum living soil. Anyone have any tips , do’s, and don’t for using these types of soil.

Haven’t used Sohum but I grow autos in organic soil only (currently Roots Organics Lush)…would recommend you read up on using SIPs. I started using GrowBuckets and it makes things pretty easy if you are in good shape environment-wise.

I used sohum professional and grew a few autos didn’t use nothing but ph’ed tap water easy soil ever used but said leave a 32oz hole in center fill with regular potting soil for seedling cause to hot to put straight in dirt.

I start my seedlings in a solo cup, usually transplant into soil about 2 weeks after sprouting.

A solo cup is only like 20oz of solo and if you read there instructions for sohum they recommend 32oz when transplanting.
Yea i read that also that the recommendation for pot size is 7 gallons. Also read somewhere that you should trans plant again before flower. Read alot of things about sohum , thanks for the insight.

I’m on my third grow with sohum. I love it. Not planning on using anything else at this point.
It’s easy to use, it’s not cheap or as easy to find though. I have done 2 auto grows and 1 photo, in a tent. In 5 gal pots.
No matter what your going to add nutes a few times.
It’s to hot for seedlings so start them in something else.
I use Gaia green 444 and 284
Your feeding the soil so being preventative is better,but can be hard to judge.
Honestly. Go to you tube and watch mr canucks grow. I use his exact method but chose sohum for my soil.
His methods have been spot on for me with great results
