This sounds crazy, but I have 6 girls that our outside that I plan on moving into my tent for flowering in the next 2 weeks. However they are growing like crazy.
Anyone have any ideas on how to possibly slow them down but keep them healthy?
Worried they will out stretch the tent once I move them in and start 12/12.
Top or supercrop. About the only way. You will actually love the doubling of colas from topping. Defoliating can work but some will just explode after that.
I supercrop my sativa a lot but girls that dont strtch naturally a lot accept topping VERY well. It will also bush out and add a ton of extra tops without going vertical.
O yeah. I’d go in there with my yard shears and clean those ladies out a fair amount. Indoors and outdoors are diff beasts. You won’t want that much foolish in a confined area. Humidity will skyrocket.
Some off the top along with some carefully planned super cropping will have some absolute MONSTERS going into the flower area
Slow rolling your watering can slow a plant’s growth. It would be a delicate balance to get it right though. Cannabis does tolerate dry soil fairy well. An extra day or 2 btw waterings is something I have done in the past.
I don’t top outdoors after July typically because it’s time for flower building so if your moving them inside soon I’d say go ahead and too now and allow a few days for recovery before dropping the lights to a 12/12. But if your staying outside for a few more weeks I personally would simply supercrop at a height that works with your interior available headspace at the time you bring them in. Hard to explain the feel of what’s right for your situation without being a part of the grow.
