I am running out of room in my tent. 12 days into flower and it grew another foot at least. Will it stop or is there something I can do to keep it from growing into the light. Thanks guys, your advice is awesome in this first grow of mine.

Supercropping can help.
Cannabis can nearly double in size the 1st few weeks of flowering. You may have a big challenge on your hands.

I’d consider super cropping or at least get some twine and pull that top over quite a bit.

Thanks for the advice. What I read is super cropping is done while in the veg state. I am almost 2 weeks into flower. Is it still ok?

You don’t have much of a choice at this point as your plant is going to continue to get taller over the next couple of weeks. The only other alternative you have is to bend the stalk over and tie it down.
I suggest flipping future grows to flower earlier before they get too big.

I might just consider cutting the main stem at about the halfway point and letting the side branches flower. That way you can lower the light and have several buds at about the same distance from the light for even growth.
You will still produce a good amount with a nice even canopy.
Probably the same amount as you would get if left alone due to the distance of the lower buds.

You should start training early in the plants life in veg. Even if you top that plant now shes gonna double in size. I dont think that lamp is powerful enough for a plant that size…
Why not take a few clones and in a month you could have 4 small/medium sized plants in there ready to go into flower…
With that lamp and the size of the plant you’ll end up with nothing but larf on more than half.

When my banana kush grew up like that, I used soft wire to gradually pull it down. You can see pics on my grow journal. I never topped her.
Not the best pic, but that cola is an amazing smoke.

My current grow got crazy tall. I supercropped the top 22 days after flip to keep it away from my light. Here it is today at 38 days after flip. The supercropped cola is healthy and thick.

I’m trying the super cropping. So far so good they’re still growing towards the light so looks like they made it. Can’t wait to see the final product. Already have four clones ready to go for the next round. Will do things a little different next time. Thanks for the advice.

Cut top three nodes and clone it.
Then cut some more, like SN says, let the lowers flower.

So here are pics of what I did. 13 days into flip I supercropped. I also updated the light and put netting in. It is now 19 days into flip and everything looks good to me. I got some clones off of her. By the way her name is Sheila. This is my first go around since the 70’s outside on a mountain top. Let me know what ya think honestly. Thanks guys and gals.
