Wow!!! Everything looks amazing!!
Found my answers. Yes, kills the beneficial life in the medium.
I will not use directly on the plants unless we have pests.
Friday, March 8. Day 68 of flower. Pure Indica.
Day 23 of flower. Blue Mystic.
The whole tent, lights on.
Day 37 above ground. ICE.
I finally got some roots showing on the second Blue Mystic cutting after 23 days. I mixed 5 gallons of Jacks 4/2 w/tribus, added leftovers, 6.05PH and 1.82EC. The tall girls got 5 quarts each. The shorties got 3.5 and 4.5 quarts each. CIC got 1 quart. ICE seedlings got 1.3 quarts each. Moms got 9oz each. Cuttings got 4oz each.
That pure indica has some wild and crazy fox-tailing goin’ on!
Yeah, I think I left the light too close for too long. They come down on Sunday, I think.
Gonna be another yoooge harvest!!
Saturday, March 9. Day 69 of flower. Pure Indica.
Day 24 of flower. Blue Mystic.
The whole tent.,lights on.
Day 38 above ground. ICE.
It’s funny to me that first my Blue Mystic and now my ICE are showing two completely different phenotypes for each pair, even though I only have two of each going. The cannabis gods must be having a good time laughing at me about it. I mixed 6 gallons of Jacks 4/2 w/tribus, 5.87PH and 1.82EC. The tall girls got 5 quarts each, the shorties got about 4 quarts each. ICE seedlings got 40 oz each, CIC got 24oz. I misted Jacks inside the domes of the most recent cuttings.
It’s funny to me that you and your set up consistently crank out the gnarly buds you do!
It’s a little cannabis factory in there!
I enjoy this aspect, planting pairs and, in my case, hoping for various phenos. I consider each one a different type altogether.
Blue Dream: one wants to be tall and lanky, the other medium sized and squat. Foliage looks the same except the tall one has lighter colored leaves.
Silver Surfer Haze: growth and appearance very similar, but one is about 25% larger than the other. One is darker than the other. Both want to be tall. Stretched a lot and still going.
G13: again very similar, but one is about 15% larger than the other. Both of these are very full with leaves and branches and they stretched quite a lot.
Gold Leaf is only represented by one lady and never grew it before. It is the heaviest with foliage and branches, medium sized and lighter colored.
I know, most people probably could care less, but I dig it.
Oh, I agree. I like having the different flavors and effects more than appearances or heights. For me I keep trying to put 2 plants under one screen, I should probably get some more casters and chop these carts I have been using in half, instead of a 2x4 cart make two 2x2 carts.
I’m digging it with you!
Sunday, March 10. Day 70 of flower. Harvest day. Pure Indica.
Day 25 of flower. Blue Mystic.
Day 39 above ground. Indica Crystal Extreme.
The whole flower tent after moving things around.
After performing a bud wash on the Indica girls I took two cuttings from each of the ICE seedlings right before moving them into the flower tent. After moving the lights around and moving the blue mystic girls back, the DLI is about 60 over most of that cart and a bit higher over the plant on the riser, I shall probably move it down a bit when I figure out how to. Over the ICE girls the DLI is 32, they will get about 8 hours of light today and then 12 hours of darkness making tomorrow day 1 of flower. I am debating trying to reveg the Pure Indica plant that I did not get a cutting to root from. I have wondered what people refer to when saying their strain is gassy, I may have figured it out. While washing the bud from these Indica girls my nostrils and throat felt like I was varnishing a piece of furniture or using large quantities of contact adhesive, like volatiles evaporating. I actually stopped the wash for about 15 minutes to catch my breath. It’s still a bit intense in that bathroom right now where they are hanging. Not sure if thats what people are talking about when they say gassy. I mixed 4 gallons of Jacks4/2 w/tribus, 5.87PH and 1.83EC. The Blue Mystic got around 4 quarts each. The ICE transplants got 3 quarts each. Everybody in veg got fed. The reason I haven’t shown any seedlings starting is I don’t have any starting. I took 4 cuttings from Cherry Ice Cream a few days back and am hoping for those to be the next into the flower tent. If that works, I may try to make some seeds after that including crossing the mothers I have with a CIC clone I treat with the silver whatchamacallit. I could probably easily not grow any more bud for the next year but that isn’t any fun. Time to try new things. Here is a pic of one of the Pure Indica buds.
Gorgeous! Congrats on the chop buddy!!!
Your plan sounds like fun!
A bit late to the party but I am saying the same thing. 23 days! Holy shit. Wouldn’t thunk it possible.
Harvest congratulations!! Look great!
Congrats on the chop!
Monday, March 11. Day 26 of flower. Blue Mystic.
Day 1 of flower. Indica Crystal Extreme-ICE.
The whole flower tent, lights on.
The 2x4 veg/cloning tent with various potential mothers and cuttings along with Pure Indica #1 possible reveg.
With the various sized plants in flower documenting feeding quantities will probably go down. I mixed 5 gallons of Jacks 4/2 w/tribus, 6.23PH and 1.82EC. The girls in flower got between 3 and 5 quarts each. The things in veg got a gallon distributed amongst them. The temp dropped last night to about 63 before I noticed and turned the heat mat on in the 2x4, I guess we will find out if it hurt any of them.
Congrats on the Indica harvest. Man do those buds look amazing!! No wonder you’re smelling the gass.
Out the park again. You’re killing it bro!
Tuesday, March 12. Day 27 of flower. Blue Mystic.
Day 2 of flower. ICE.
The whole tent, lights on.
A closer look at ICE #1.
I will assume these leaves are from the light being too intense, the new growth looks fine to me. I mixed 5 gallons of Jacks 4/2 w/tribus, 5.96PH and 1.78EC. The girls in flower got 4 gallons between them, the other gallon went to the 2x4 tent. The Dude remains unimpressed.
