Signs of flowering? 30 days old

Is this plant/plants flowering? If so should i switch for bloom nutes? i wanted veg for atleast another week or 2 as my they dont have many side branches and are just growing tall. Thanks in advance

Pistils at the plant’s nodes only indicate that the plant is sexually mature. The sign of flowering is for pistils to appear at this tips of the plant.

Autos flower shortly after they become sexually mature. Photos require a short lighting cycle to flower.)

Ok thats good so not flowering yet then? Do you think she’ll put out some side branches? Not looking promising atm.

Your plant will do fine if given proper care. Stick to the basics of environmental management (temp, RH, good soil, proper watering, management of pH and PPM, and so on.)

At this stage, all veg growth is complete. The plant will start focusing on growing out the blooms, later stage it will focus on fattening up the buds.

From my count (from what i can see), it looks like you’ll have approx 10 colas.

Wait until you see white hairs coming out of bud sites then start your bloom nutrients. Here is a picture of my blooms at week 2 since flipping my light schedule-

Happy growing!!

Hopefully, she stacks up some decent bud from the few sites she’s got. I dont smoke too much, and this was more of an experiment, so I’ll be happy with whatever she gives. Thanks for the tips. She has got some white tips coming from some of the bud sites, and we’ll see what the next few weeks bring.

Don’t base estimates on the size of the plant right now. You may be surprised with what she ultimately produces. Keep in mind that a plant can double in size during the first few weeks of flowering. Once she starts flowering the flowers will continue to pack on weight for the first 5 or so weeks of flowering.

The best thing you can do is give her a good environment. Get her as much direct sunlight as possible. She isn’t currently getting enough light.

Its the weather, its been diabolical here in the uk. Im hoping the rest of this month and august is decent. Shes in the open as much as possible its just been constantly cloudy.

To be fair, tho, I’ve seen some diaries with people growing this strain, and theirs are quite a bit smaller than mine shes on day 33. And within 2 weeks, they seem to have doubled, which is crazy so fingers crossed the weather perks up.

I’m in the states, but I’ve spent (collectively) a couple of years in Birmingham (Solihill, actually.) I went every 3rd week for years. The traveling got old, but I enjoyed the country quite a bit.

I’m familiar with it. I always stayed at a hotel near Broad Street and drove the A45 (Coventry Road) through Sheldon on the way to work in Solihull every day.

What a small world, lol. Im no longer in birmingham i moved down south. I haven’t been back in about 4 years. Supposedly, we get more sun down south. Trust the one year i want to grow outdoors its piss poor!

Is there anything i can do to influence more side branches or am i stuffed?

No, you won’t have anymore branches growing as you are out of veg state.

For your next grow, you can LST it for more branches. I just started to learn to scrog, I’ve always just tied my my branches down.

More light will develop plants that are more thick/bushy. The issue with plants that are sparsely full is inadequate light intensity. Cannabis is an extremely light hungry plant. The only plants that need as much light as cannabis are palm trees, olive trees, and some varieties of cacti.

Man she looks awesome. What light are you using? Ive got 2 outdoors and one indoor under a mars ts600 shes super small at 7 inches but super bushy shes just entered the third week

Reckon ill get an oz from that lanky one?

I would expect so. Lighting is the single most important environmental factor for a productive grow.
