Cool. Thanks.
Welp, I got this little waaay overpriced watering can that actually sounds like it’s aerating the water as it comes out of the can. I doubt that’s what its intent is but bubbles still hit the surface of the CoCo, and that somehow makes me smile and so was well worth the 13 bucks I paid for it. Not a whole hell of a lot to smile a out here in Chuck Town lately.
Just female flowers. Or more commonly called Calyxes. They have pistils protruding from them. Perfectly normal for a female plant.
Shew. Ok. Cool. Thanks for responding so quickly. None of the others have that, or at least not that I’ve noticed. Maybe cause the plants are so dang small they kinda jumped out at me this morning. I was ready to haul them outside. Lol! Again, thanks so much, Spiney. Nice to see you again, btw
Recovering from foot surgery. I dont get around much at this point.
Sometimes the calyxes will swell up and it can look like a seed or pollen ball. Looks like it’s to break out the bloom sauce for the autos.
Good luck with your recovery @Spiney_norman
Break out the bloom juice! That’s a good saying. Lol!
@Spiney_norman , you’d think that you not being able to get around would have you on line much more? What’d they do to your foot? I recall reading something but can’t quite recall what.
I just dont feel like doing much of anything at this point.
Still have a few months of recovery ahead. I will no doubt be on more when I feel better.
Damn Dude. I’m sorry. I hope you fell 100% real soon.
Ok. What the hishell is up with these Phylos Auto’s? They were doing great, except the in incredibly small leaves, and all of a sudden about 4 days ago they stopped growing, and possibly even shrunk, started changing to yellow and brown and then they started curling up and they now feel like rubber. This all started right about the time they started to flower. Rubber. They feel like rubber. The leaves, the stems, the whole of the plants, all 3 of them. In the pics you’ll see how I can bend them almost in half and they give and give without breaking. Any idea???
I think that’s all the pics. Rubber. Why would feel like rubber?
Not sure what would cause them to feel rubbery. What are your ins and outs? What is your feed mixture? those look like they have been flowering for a while now.
Might wanna raise rh to 50% or a bit less, 38 is low enough they may not be able to transpire.
I was thinking similar things, but that can’t be the root cause. Thinking back I have flowered many plant’s at 40% and 75 degrees without major issue. I’ve done outdoor with higher temps and lower humidity also but they did get cool nights. No humidity though. Light could probably be a little closer, but again I don’t feel like that would cause what we are seeing.
Did you say that plant is an Autoflower?
Yeah, I don’t get the rubbery part……
yes these ones are autos
Hi y’all. I’m not at home rn but will return with my numbers once I’m there.
They are Autos. Planted to substrate on 5/21. I must admit that with how the numbers were always so crazy that I stopped checking, but I have been watering to RO 3-5x a day depending on whether I’m up at at em 24hrs or if I decide to rest a day. Never less than 3x. I’ve been using the new waterer. My EC in for these, I believe, is between 1.1-1.4. the pH stands at 5.7-5.9. I have the light high because I didn’t know what was up with them and originally it was just the small leaves that were the problem. All the Photos also had small leaves and I read to raise and lower the intensity of the light so they would stretch some and that’s worked for the Photos and, knock on wood, they’re doing way better now. They are still more tightly strung than is optimal but the leaves are larger now and their dark green color has returned. These Autos have just gone downhill fast and them being rubbery is weird . All I can think is it’s the Power Si. I was using .25teas/g but have discontinued its use grow wide.
Back to the numbers, while not right here in front of me, I do recall they were stupid high. Like 3000! I calmag flushed down until I ran out of water and some were still 1900. Most not, some a couple. Strange thing too, was how even though I ran that much through them, the tops of the substrate was dry and light brown 4hrs later. It does get hot in the big tent though, but never hotter than 88°.
I think that answers all. Sorry so windy. I am bored to death sitting in a waiting room waiting on the Grand to finish an appointment. Bored. Bored. More bored.
Oh yeah, no pistols on 6/23. Then pistols on 6/30. And flowers by 7/8.
I am home now. Here are the photos of LGA1 over 3 weeks. Plus the numbers for the other day are as follow: That I can’t find the stupid paper. I do recall that they were all over 2500 and a couple were over 3000. The following, from a piece of paper that I can find, are what I flushed them down to with calmag /rain/distilled water: 3 Autos to LGA1=5.8/1520, LGA2=5.7/1780, LGA3=5.9/1540.
I figure it’s too late to do anything to help them. I still have 2 of those seeds and 5 Apple Fritter Autos, so if something doesn’t go well with those 7, I am done with Autos. Lol! I have the 7 Photos going that SEEM to be doing well, and still some of those seeds left to plant too. So I’m good, I suppose.
Thanks you guys!
