Before covid I was an executive pastry chef … then the time at home pushed me to focus my energy somewhere and I started painting. My paintings can be a little … weird sometimes lol, but I don’t really put paint to canvas unless there is a deep seated feeling and connection. Oddly enough all of these have been done unmedicated, in fact until my crop is finished I will not have had any medication for a couple years and I am rather excited to see if it does anything for my paintings.
I love seeing all forms of creativity and supporting fellow artists! So please, show your creative outlet! Judgement-free zone.
“Be Present in the Now” - (The grey parts represent living in the past or future causing grief, regret, depression, anxiety, fear. The color represents living in the now/present and being free from that.)
You’d be surprised at what sells these days, even doing some sort of stream of consciousness and just doing what you feel can be therapeutic! Have you seen the guy, I think he goes by Mr. Doodle, that does nothing but stick figures and doodles … and has become quite the celebrity over it.
Omg I love it! Did you carve the Cheshire Cat? That’s coooooolll! I love trying new things … a touch of ADD has me bouncing around between home diy, painting, building furniture and now my special garden. Keeps me from getting bored. lol
I hope so. The ingenuity in this community is beyond the charts as far as all the problem solving skills, ScROG builds and attention to detail in what goes into their grow formula … so I feel like that creativity may carry over into other things!
you are correctamundo there are some very skilled people on this site whether it be building stuff or growing. I enjoy scrolling down everybody’s street checking out the pretty flowers and anything they’ve built!!!
Got the urge to try some airbrush work on a skateboard … I put it up on Etsy to advertise custom boards and Paramount was quick to have it taken down. There’s still tons of other TMNT work on there though so I’m gonna take it as a compliment and just use it to advertise at local art shows
