Should I give up on this one and start again?

Don’t give up, you’ve still got this!

That seedling sure has stretched a bunch! But if you’re gentle it will survive!

Thanks!

So it’s stretched… now what.
I’d turn up the lighting just a little… a gentle breeze will help strengthen that stem and keep the seedling little more squattier to the soil.
It’s a judgement call though and I understand. Good luck

You can transplant them and bury the stem further down. Also you have a severe lighting issue for them to that stretched. What kind of light are you using and what height?

Welcome!
How old is it and is it a autoflower or photo period?

That puppy needs some light

Not gonna lie I am feeling a bit discouraged. Super grateful for all the responses. I recognize that with better tools I may be able to help. There’s a small rip in the stem. Any recommend grow light and company that is affordable for newbies? I have tons of questions if you guys are willing to help. Thank you again. Also,

Thank you! It’s auto flower and it’s about 3 weeks. Definitely slow growth. What kind of light would you recommend?

in the immediate future you should repot and bury it deeper in soil and then give it more light. like way more light. 3x or 4x of what you’re giving her now.

Sometimes we learn the hard way. We all do.

I think you can salvage this.

Lower your light in the time being. Vivosun 1000S (100W input) would take care of a plant long term. About $130

pH meters are pretty inexpensive. Get a cheap $20 one for now

Nutrients come later like someone else said, replant now by burying it up to about 1" from the leaves. Then lower the light

Don’t be too discouraged. You’ll make it

I’ve got the VS1000. It’s fine. Prefer the Bloomspect SS2000 for the same price. 200 watts; more room to scale up if you decide to.

This. Absolutely. Add more soil to the pot to cover the stem.

Move the light as close as you can get it to your plant once you bury the stem. She needs every bit of that 32 watts.

Absolutely this as well. Don’t worry at all - we all goof up pretty hard on our very first grow. Some of us, way more than others.

Alittle care and patience is all you need after you upgrade the setup alittle. You got this and when you smoke your homegrown…makes it all worth it…trust me. This community will help you step by step.

Welcome to the neighborhood. I agree with all above :point_up:As long as there is green don’t give up. I do have a concern, the soil looks very dry. Might need a little misting. Happy Growing :v:

Yeah dude transplant it and then put soil up to right under the leaves that way to hold her self up and it’ll go from there you can save it easily by doing that just be super super super gentle and careful

No Trans it and bury it to shore up the stem.

Welcome to the community! :sunglasses:
Agree with the transplant and better light postings. Bury her down low and give it 24hrs of light , CFT bulb, a few inches away and off she will go! Happy growing!

Awesome! I purchase this today. What kind of soil do you recommend? Also, have you ever used a water irrigation system?

Nice light!
