Hi! I hope everyone is doing well and being safe during everything going on. I am underway of my first grow ever. I’m growing Auto Lemon Haze from MSNL seed bank in Happy Frog soil. My first plant was started on March 4. I’m growing in a 5X5 tent. And using a Spiderfarm Sf 2000, Bestva Dv 2000, and Parfactworks Full spectrum 2000. They each get about 200-230 actual watts.
She seems to be growing great. I have used very little nutrients. I just started using 2-3 teaspoons of Foxfarm Big bloom, grow big, and tiger bloom for every 2 gallons of water this week. PH is 6.3. I have not done any training besides tucking of leaves several times a day.
Is there anything else I should do during this flowering phase? I would love some advice on how she looks or any tips to maximize my yield and THC during the next few weeks ?
I bought a quantum par meter and most of her bud sites are reading between 700-900
@Pepeall20 just be careful with fox farm nutrients they are strong I burnt my first plant with them I have same nite trio to I go have of what the dirtions say in the early stage 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water I went 1 tablespoon of water I guess it was to much I’m learning on giving nutrients they are stronger than what we think they are
Thank you all for taking the time to chime in! Greatly appreciated! All the reassurance definitely helps. The hardest part is most definitely patience lol.
Currently the lights are 18 inches from the tallest flower that’s forming and up to 30 inches in some other areas.
Hi yes I do have the feeding schedule. Yes I have been worried about nutrient burn so I’ve been doing about 1/2 the dose it recommended. But even with the 2 teaspoons per 2 gallons I’m a bit nervous.
How long did it take before you noticed you burned your plants? Just curious how long I should look out to see how they react before I can determine they responded well?
I feed my plant with lights on right before I was putting it to bed the next morning I woke up to to turn light on it was fried next day I mean there was no saving it at all the whole plant it was done
FYI the FF feed chart uses a different scale to read PPM: 700 scale. So if you feed to their TDS you will burn your plants. A better method is to mix using their feed chart just for the ratios between the different nutes. Then target a specific TDS to hit when you mix. I would not go over 1,000 ppm in flower with soil. PH to soil range. Feed every other watering. If using cal mag I add on water days.
