Should I add Jack's Bloom to Jack's 3-2-1 Nutrients?

I’m still new to using Jack’s 3-2-1 nutrients, so far is working better than anything else I’ve ever tried. This grow using it from beginning to end like many people say here on ILGM. I had already bought the Jack’s Bloom 10-30-20 a few months ago.

I’m 2 weeks into light cycle change. Will adding Bloom help the flowering stage at all or could it overnutrient my plants?

The two in the back are photos and the three in the front are autos.

They show using it and Epsom during the first week of flowering.

Oh well, according to that, I missed the bud set week to use it. Oh well, maybe next time. I’m not sure if it would really make a noticable difference, maybe it would but I’m not going to add it now.

Still, way better than the FoxFarm liquid nutrients I was using several grows in a row, it was too easy to get nutrient burn.

Yes, I used NFTGs and got tired of mixing up 6 to 8 bottles of nutes.

NFTGs? Huh?

Nectar for the Gods.
Its a nutrient line from “Oregon’s Only” Organic line with several bottles you have to intermix. It changes throughout the grow and so every week is a different formula. Way too fiddly.
Jacks is one formula all grow.

Cool. Lots of people on here seem to use the Jacks 3-2-1 from veg to harvest. I don’t mind mixing up a gallon once per day. Price wise, it’s really really cheap - the three bags I bought from Jack’s looks like it will last 2-3 years. Not bad!

I agree. It is easy and quick to mix. Plants seem t love it.

Ive used jacks bloom on a few different grows and i unfortunately have not seen any difference in my grows during the beginning of 12/12 compared to just continuing the 321 process thankfully i got my bloom for free from a buddy that never wanted it but impo its not worth buying

Maybe there’s another issue. I saw great differences within a week switching from Fox Farm powder/liquids to Jacks 3-2-1. Then again, who knows? It works for me.

Nice looking ladies. I use the modified schedule of 2/2/1 and 1.2 grams of MPK for the 1st 3-4 weeks of flower then back to full strength jacks. It’s on their feed schedule :love_you_gesture:

I started top dressing with fox farm fruit and flower. No more mixing nutes for me.

I agree i think the base recipe is pretty good. If you’re going to tweak from there, should be able to look at plants and determine what you need, when you need it, and why. Then get yourself the specific element or compound you’ve determined and apply it how you feel is best, and finally be able to draw a conclusion on how your adjustments impacted your grow. If you can’t do this, your best bet is use base recipe and just make reactive adjustments based on how your plants look. Most don’t need 2-3 additional products to run a successful grow.

Exactly ive tried it a total of 4 grows now and each time i do a side by side comparison on using the bloom on 1 plant and just 321 on another and have never seen a difference at all between the 2 therefore making it useless to me and just another way for a company to make extra money off of unknowing customers who knows it may work well on other types of flowering plant but for our wants and needs ill pass lol
