If i cut 4 clones off a plant and the clones are male does that mean the plant they come from has to be male ? Or did high stress cause them to turn

Im not sure thats what im askin ? It hasn’t showed sex yet but its clones arr male

I’m confused Growmie, the plant the clones were taking from should be sexually mature as well as in showing the sex of either a male or female
If you flowered out clones, but not the parent plant, yes the clones will indicate the parental sex.

This is how we use to determine if plants were worth continuing to veg out. Take a couple clones and put them in glass of water on 12/12. As long as donor plant was mature enough could usually tell in 10-15 days.
