Self topped/mutation?

I’ve recently started my first grow with Sweet Kush autos. My plant seems to have self topped. The main stem grew then sprouted a couple of new stems from that. The main stem seems to have stopped and the others are quickly overtaking it. It’s hard to see from the images as it’s so thick. Should the top the main stem to open up some space? And what could the cause be?
Initially my tent was way too hot, around 35°c. It wasn’t very humid. Also the water ph was 7.8 (like I said first time grower)

Welcome to ILGM forum. I saw recently someone posted about same thing. I believe there is a specific name for this mutation. But it’s one of those names, no matter how many times I hear it I’ll never remember it. Good Luck and don’t hesitate to ask questions, there’s a lot of experienced growers here that are happy to help with problems.

Thats not un heard of. Ive seen guys on other forums getvthese and they basically mainline themselves. Ive also seen guys get this and one side is significantly weaker than the other and has to prop it. Lool over on 420mag forum, there is a guy with a thread rite now. I tried to find the scientific name for it but no luck yet. If its any solace… everone this happens to ends up with a hugevyeild out of the plant.
