Hi everyone, just wondering if the ILGM seed catalog is available to Canadians? I here from growers here in Canada that the Trump regime is scooping all seeds at the border? Does anyone have any input about this?

As usual, since they stopped shipping to Canada, you can order from ILGM but you have to have the seed shipped to a US friend that would be willing to ship them back to you.
Up until very recently there wasn’t any complication doing it this way. But now, it’s iffy if they’ll make it. The US is imposing a tariff on any packages that crosses the borders… So it’s going to be under scrutiny. I haven’t had anything shipped to me from the US in the last 10 months. But I’ve tried shipping some sample of Lexan and aluminium for some R&D at work and the package was returned because nobody wanted to pay to tariffs on it…

Like you could walk over the border with seeds in your possession previously but not anymore? I’m asking because I’ve had seeds that were shipped intercepted at Canadian border multiple times prior to the current administration. So if this is what you’re referring to it’s definitely not new to the current administration.

No Im asking is the US actively interfering with cannabis seed shipping, and is ilgm shipping to Canada, because I heard through the grape vine they were… at least at some point they were?
Well, you blamed this on “Trump regime” but has been happening here for my entire lifetime. So I wasn’t sure of the context?
Far as ILGM shipping to Canada, they did until Canada “legalized” weed. Which was ~2019 or so. At that point you could no longer process orders through the website with a shipping address inside of Canada. Has been this way since.
Is there something specific you’re looking for? We have found some work arounds in the past.

No, there are some plants Id be interested in, but it just seems too cumbersome to do business with the US. As for the Trump comment, yeah I’m displeased as I have family and friends in the US and wouldn’t mind going for a visit, but the border has become like prepping for a cavity search. They want access to our social media… DENIED! They are stealing seeds out of the mail! Of course, they will do that regardless in the US. I refuse to have my rights violated though. We Canadians want to restore our good relationships with the US so things go back to " normalish "

Far as the seeds go, we could probably work something out if you want. Hit me up in a couple weeks.
Last time I crossed border both sides took my phone. Canada searched my vehicle going and the US searched my vehicle coming back. This was during Obama administration. I get that you all North of the imaginary line view things certain ways and not all are in line with those of us to the South. But the stuff you’re complaining about isn’t new from the Trump administration.

Well being forced to hand over your phone and allow access to your social media.. that is new, anything negative about the dear leader.. access denied. That’s new… a 5 year refusal of entry for anti Trump posts? Bro… come on. Where has the freedom of speech gone? Threatening to shut down broadcasting licenses because of anti Trump messages? Hmm… that shit is uncool. We are watching man, we see the news.
That is what Im saying, things have changed at the border. Us snow Mexicans are getting defensive about it.

Oh and due to the rediculous and illegal tarrifs, everything is being scrutinized heavily that crosses the border. My wife attempted to buy a product advertised at a specific price, the importer cancelled the order because the price that was advertized could not be met. We have false advertising laws here.
But that’s enough of the political stuff… Id rather just move on from that. The original question was answered.

Yeah its bullshit! Don’t get me started. I want to order some Xmas bud from CSI Humbolt, not sure it won’t get raped over at the border? Not cheap seed to be losing to the gastapo. I suspect the reason seed is more prone to interception now is because they scrutinize the shit out of everything due to the tariffs? But when you drop 150 on a pack of seeds that’s actually 200 Canadian! Not chump change. Well I left a message with Caleb, perhaps he has a plan?
