I’m glad I woke up to find some comedians in my thread.
Alright, mini update time.
In the 4x3, the Wedding Cake and Royal Cookies autos are taking off quite nicely. Glad I marked the Wedding Cake stem I was reversing because otherwise at this point I’d be spraying the whole thing at random. No signs of male parts yet but that’s okay, I understand it takes a solid 2 weeks of regular treatment to do anything. I might be on like day 6 or so. Plenty of time to go.
If you aren’t following the Grow Dots/No Dots journey, you may have missed the tragedy that was No Dots’ self-Induced demise.
I left her planted in the coco but she’s even droopier today so I’m not expecting much to come from that. I’ll probably be using her planter for the Zkittlez I told @VOL4LIFE I would up-pot yesterday and absolutely didn’t. No Dots’ untimely death will give me the space, at least.
I’ve got another 1gal planter that Afghan Mix was in, it’s time to reclaim that as well. I’ve got some decisions to make about what I’m doing for the new room. First being how the hell im gonna hang my lights. Probably ceiling hooks and ratchet straps. Eek.
That sounds like my wife! She can’t do caffeine or THC - which by the way she had one of the CBD gummies last night and I’m a little concerned there’s more THC in those bad boys that 1mg per gummy. (I honestly assumed that was a high number because the plant was supposed to be 20 CBD: 1 THC and the bud only tested around 9.7% CBD, I figured that meant the THC was even lower than 1%.
But I distinctly remember her mumbling something about feeling kinda high as I drifted off to sleep. I’d go wake her up and ask for a report but she rarely sleeps this late, so I’m just going to let her enjoy it!
I have to be careful with cannabis, it can flip on me quickly but I generally enjoy it very much.
Caffeine is a whole different story. I can drink triple bagged Irish breakfast tea like it’s my job. Energy drinks without batting an eye… but coffee turns me into a crackhead. And no one enjoys it
I love fresh ground coffee also. Have myself a grinder and I like Tim Hortons coffee beans 1887 is good also but Timmy ho hos is my shiz. Starbucks is the worst coffee I have ever drank ever ever ever. Eew never again that’s for sure u less I try making it myself.
Yup! That’s what I ususaly order… soda water, no ice and with lemon
Well, I wouldn’t say it makes my body freak out (although it does give me heart palpitations) but if have more than 1 cup, I will glady wash your car… with a toothbrush LOL
The last time I tried the “speciality fresh ground” my mom ended up giving me 2 Ativan after all my breakfast came back up.
I just don’t play with it anymore hahaha
Starbucks has a tendency to burn their coffee. Whether it’s when they roast it or when they’re brewing it, I haven’t decided. I have gotten some light roast whole beans from them that were pretty dang good. I actually mostly get my coffee from Brickhouse Coffee & Tea Company - they roast it when you order it and it’s probably the only place that has a good Salvadorian coffee bean that isn’t dark roast (which I generally just don’t like). I have tried Blk & Bold but they rarely have the beans I like, and Red Bay Coffee, which is similarly situated. Good stuff but rarely the ones I prefer.
My brother hooked me up with a Bottomless subscription for a year, and the coffee they send has been decent too - all roasted to order but the blends are all over the map because it needs time to “learn” what I like.
One could say you’re a Tim Ho’s ho. ![]()
I almost wish I had that problem. I’m team Coffee Mainlining. I still crawl into bed at night and sleep like a baby after sixteen hours of coffee drinking.
Oof. ![]()
We’ll get you some nice English breakfast tea.
Yeah, we only drink Peet’s Coffee… it used to be a small hand-roaster from Berkeley but they’ve grown into a huge company… good thing is that their coffee still tastes the same! They have some super-yummy ‘strains’ jajaja my favorite being called “Supernatural” but it’s only available in limited quantities in the late winter… it has a very slight hint of blueberry. We run around town and buy all that we can, vcuum seal and freeze it for the year.
At the coffee shop I usually order hot chocolate… like a real man. I only get judged a little, most of the time
I just like a reg coffee no flavoring stuff or anything anything similar to Folgers classic roast I can drink any stronger is gross. I’m super picky at what goes in my mouth lol
@Mark0427 @Caligurl @Underthestairs never order coffee out, I only drink it if I or someone makes it fresh, and by that I mean it is not on the warmer pad more than 15 minutes. I prefer med dark Columbian, and Kona is good, too. But I’m even good with Hills Bros if it’s fresh and strong enough but not too strong so it’s bitter. I used to waitress so I know they combine those pots, and I don’t like that at all. One of the benefits, tho is I could pull the pot with just a cup made and it was stronger than the rest.
And what about those people who reheat their coffee in the microwave? Personally, I think that ruins it. My daughter likes it cold, if she doesn’t finish it she just leaves it and drinks it cold the next day. Yuck. I mean, I don’t like cold coffee, but just left to sit out without refrigeration, I don’t like that idea. But to each their own.
Speaking of coffee, I think I’ll make some.
Maybe I’ll put in a packet of hot cocoa, that’s always good on a frosty day
I too am a folders coffee addict. We went to IHOP this morning for the first time in about 3 years. Oh!! Their coffee is to die for. Just finished my to-go cup of coffee from there.
Yum! ![]()

Man, I feel kinda lost. I know what I need to do - move my ladies into the other room.
I guess the first step will be to wait until lights out and move the lights. I’ll start with the 4x4 because if I can claim that as the veg tent I’ll be a happy camper. If not, that’ll be fine too. I think the 4x3 may be getting much more manageable as I move the autoflowers into the bedroom.
So tonight’s project is to move all the lights from the 4x4 and 5x2.5 into the bedroom and get the plants moved with them afterward. That will not be a small task as it involves moving the entire RDWC reservoir and system - suddenly glad I never used goop to seal up my pvc joints.
I think with all the flowering girls in one room and all the lights shining, I’ll be able to think more clearly about what I’m doing next. I want to keep one of the tents so I can keep vegging. I rather have a temptation to simply move everyone, tent and all, into the bedroom, but I’m afraid that will just be an unnecessary space constrictor that doesn’t outweigh the convenience of hanging the lights inside the tent. I have a fair amount of ceiling hooks (maybe 8-10) and I know where to buy more.
Maybe I can use the tent skeletons without the skin to make frames to hang lights from.
Hmm.
Sounds like quite the endeavor. I don’t like doing anything with my girls after lights out. I try to plan all rearranging for their day schedule. I’m less nervous to interrupt the sunshine than to light pollute them at bedtime.
It’ll be so nice to have the extra space
Yeah, I’m not a huge fan but they’ll have minimal interruptions. I want to grab the lights when they’re off, but the girls will get moved in the AM - I don’t have my office job tomorrow so I can plant wrestle a bit and not worry about the pot smell. Tonight will be all about mapping out the lighting so I can find and fill gaps if needed.
I almost said fun. I think exciting is more accurate. You’ll have quite the day ahead of you. How many DWC buckets?
Yeah, not fun at all
I’m hoping to rope one of my wife’s friends into helping me with the promise of some weed at the end in exchange.
I’ve got 3 DWC buckets interconnected with pvc, and 3 standalones. All in all the part I’m really dreading is the reservoir- a 27 gallon tote. I’m gonna have to pump a lot of res water out the window to be able to move that sucker.
Hope you have a couple gallon plastic jugs laying around… I wouldn’t want to do that with spaghetti pots
