Seeds in Rockwool

No it doesn’t sounds like it was wired to code nor has been re wired to code. And if your wire is getting hot it is a sign that you are overloading it and will probably burn the building down if used for any length of time.

I meant “live” by saying hot, although it may be worth poking around some of the 14 and 12 wired boxes and making sure they aren’t pulling more than they can carry.

Only the newest, and only because we were able to purchase the building late last year.

Everything done under the prior owner while we rented (anything in the last 20+ years) was absolutely not done up to code. The guy was allergic to spending money. The roof badly needs replacing because we are convinced it’s still the original sheet metal roofing from 1970whatever when they did the whole old roof and built on the second half of the building (the second half is up to some discernible code, at least). My real limited experience with everything in the trade industry lately says that roofing is going to be insanely expensive, or insanely hard to find. 10 gauge wire was a plan-ahead kind of thing, and in the past I feel like I could just wander in to anywhere and ask - sure, they kept it behind the counter so people wouldn’t steal it, it existed without a week of forethought.

By the way, did you start a journal and I missed it? I wanted to ask about your plants. I feel like I haven’t seen em for a bit in Synyster’s thread

It’s screenshot night cuz I’m too tired to go take real photos.

The flowering ladies. I pollinated some of them with Ruby Juice pollen. He is still in my home office living his best life.

I ordered a small 2x2x5 tent for breeding purposes. Thank you $30 on eBay.

It will be absolute crap but that’s okay. I’m not after light blocking, just segregation so I can avoid pollinating my entire room. That means I’m gonna have to convince my wife to let me put it in the office closet, or the garage, or somethin’.:joy::v: We’ll see.

Also will be giving RainScience a shot - doing 2 x 1 gallon grow-offs for Irvine Seed Company. Will be growing Mother of Dragons and Perfect Circle. Hardest part will be dropping the seeds and promptly leaving town. Going to have my fingers crossed they don’t dry out or mold while I’m away. Ugh.

I’m a big fan of the rain science bags. They clean easily, which is nice.

@Graysin the neutral is a current carrying conductor as it is the return for excess power. I would have to
Test it to see if it is a short or just return current. And I will send you some pics of my plants tonight when i get home. Ive been busy between work and the boat lol. We took it out on Saturday and had a great time

Took my son and niece :blue_heart: the concrete block they called a dock did take a chunk out of my boat:sob: I have to repair it tomorrow when the epoxy gets delivered

I plan to take it out again this weekend too

@xXKristenXx Sorry about the boat’s boo-boo. Looks like you had a great time. We had a McKenzie float boat and spent many a weekend floating the Snake River and fishing. Those rocks really beat up the boat.

Best,

This is the case. It’s just a return current that homeslice shared with two breakers. It might be okay(?) but I really don’t like it.

Awesome! I’m so glad that you got it situated after that guy took all the gear off of it :grimacing:
Looks like it was a good time. Makes me miss the hell outta my grandfather. He would take us out off the coast of western Mexico, fishing, snorkeling, diving, whatever we wanted to do. He just loved to drive a boat, he didn’t care what it was we did when we got there.

Oh no. Concrete is how I think I’ve always seen them (again, though, think Mexico 15 years ago). Wait - I lied - I’ve seen some nice actual wooden docks in Utah and Oregon. Just not off the ocean.

Veg tent updates:

The little ladies aren’t so little anymore. I actually think I might be ready to move them into autopots on the night of the 2nd when I’m getting ready to skip town. Peanut Butter Breath will get her first STS treatment at that time - I’ll be doing half the plant to try and maximize pollen production.

Mostly as a reminder to myself, I have Black Amnesia, White Widow, LSD, Caramelo, PBB, and something else I’m not remembering right now. I know I’ve got 5 on the floor of the tent and PBB up top. It’s beyond me - lights are off so oh well.

Super tall one in the way back left is a 517 Legends Acapulco Gold x Sour Cherry Mids. Also 2 others in the autopot with her.:joy:

Up top is Marmalate (I think), PBB, the last surviving clone from @Carpenter - Acapulco Gold, 2 Lady Golds, a Black Amnesia clone for @Growingforothers , and a reveg (garlic punch I believe).

In the flowering room I have Zkittlez, Garlic Fusion no. 2 (who just wants to be a lateral spaghetti monster on my floor), Black Opal, and some other sh!t

You only had one survivor. That’s no good I’m sorry to hear that.
I thought sure they would survive the trip.
Just goes to show what I know :joy:
Looks like you have your hands full

I’m really surprised at Vanilla Drip - she was so healthy looking when she arrived but she just sort of immediately faded. I’m suspecting the rough treatment in transit bruised up her roots just enough that she couldn’t deal.

Exodus Haze seemed like a stretch from the onset since she leapt out of her shipper bottom.

I will probably be getting some new neoprene collars here in a few weeks so it has a nice snug fit next round.

The only part I’m nervous about is that I need to drop seeds and immediately scoot outta town before I can even watch them sprout.

The only time I feel ok to leave em for more than a day or two…
Safe travels :v:

Cut a bud off the GDP to see where she’s at.

Confusing is where she’s at. :joy: trich shots:

Also harvested and bud washed Garlic Fusion, began trimming Twisted Helix. I’ll take some pics of those tomorrow after work. If I remember :v:

@graysin I am sitting on at least six weeks for the earliest of the outdoor grow girls. Getting worried about the Sativa dominants. Hopefully a mild Fall and Winter. One year I had strawberries with fruit in December.

I know some say there is no difference between Indica and Sativa but I see it in their growth patterns.

I think the growth is the difference. Sounds silly to say but I agree entirely. I had not had a plant, sativa or Indica, til this run who alternated nodes so blatantly. They all grew “Indica” even the Blue Dream, in terms of nodes being a pair and together or darn close. I think the hybridization of the genetics to achieve desired affects has reduced the difference that may once have existed between the two. But in my mind, it’s the same thing as saying hemp is the same plant. To an extent, it must be, otherwise it couldn’t pollinate cannabis, but it sure won’t produce the same “fruit.”

Here is Garlic Fusion from the chop.

And Ruby Juice.

That Garlic Fusion has a nice swell to it. Beautiful buds! Keep’em growin! :+1:t2::v::sunglasses:

Thank you sir. I thought so myself.

For anyone keeping track, Twisted Helix weighed in around 146 grams. I know I already lost 7-10 grams to taste testing. So I’m guessing about 5.5 ounces. Gotta love that!

Just inherited a mid-flower lady who had been outdoors.

I dunno what to do with her, she arrived right before I left to go to Arizona for a few days

I inspected for pests - obvious pest damage but nothing living on the plant. Probably in the soil. Natural response? DE dousing.

She’ll live in my office til I return and verify no living threats to my actual grow. Then she can get imported to the room and finish flowering there. Any tips to ensure freedom from bugs other than letting the DE do it’s thing and some CJDB treatments when I return? @Caligurl @JaneQP @MeEasy @Lacewing

Meanwhile all my seeds are set in their rockwool homes. Except my Irvine grow-off gals, they went straight into 1gal bags and coco.

Weekly treatments whether you think they need it or not. I’ve been doing cjdb and Monterey BT. I did 1.5 strength at first to really knock down the mites :spider:and caterpillars :bug:. I hunt the caterpillars t night with a black light flashlight
