Hey all, Happy April 1st. I was lucky enough to attend the 2025 Home Grow Tour in Palm Springs, California back on March 23rd. I was part of the grow class along with a buddy of mine. During the class, we were given 2 Papaya Kush Auto flower seeds each to start for the grow class. Although I have not seen any of the pictures from the 23rd on the forum updates, it was still a great class given by Clare and the support team. Olaf was very informative, Sihan was fun, and everyone was just so nice. I brought a couple of sample buds (White Widow and Trainwreck) that I had just harvested for them to look at to get a feel of how they thought my grow had gone.
Back to the seeds that they gave us… When I got home, I put all 4 into rockwool (trying that as a new thing) on the 25th and let them go. So, I wanted to post a picture of the growth so far (4-1-25) and encourage anyone else that went to the tour grow classes to post what their seeds have done, if anyone is interested in doing so?
I hope that this can be a fun post. It’s my first new topic post ever, so please bear with me if I made any mistakes on this post. I’ll post some other plant pictures that I have going currently in a different post. Thanks, ILGM and crew for a fun day.
Thanks T-Ray. I appreciate you posting back. I’ll include a picture of part of the harvest. TW auto on the left side of the tray before drying and WW auto on the right. These were both started in November, outside, in pots. SoCal area. Plus, they were autos, so they were very small compared to their potential. But I’m trying new things and new ways and learning as I go. I’ll also include a pre-harvest photo of the TW. I just ordered another 20 Trainwreck seeds (non-auto this time) from ILGM. Still hoping to get a couple in the ground this year. Thanks again and best of luck with your Trainwreck. Definitely one of the best old-school strains!

Thanks SM, I appreciate the welcome. I’m thinking that I may do the 4 Papaya Kush Auto seedlings in different ways to just see how they do. I’m thinking one in the garden ground, 1 in a large plastic pot, 1 in the 5-gallon ILGM fabric pot that I got at the grow class, and 1 in an outside hydroponic DWC 5-gallon bucket. I’ll be sure to keep this thread updated. Have a great day.
