Seeds being VERY slow to germinate

I posted a picture on 11/10 of my seeds, started on the 8th. It’s now November 24th and as far as I can tell there may be a hair-like root just starting on one and nothing on the other. The seeds are Cali Kush CBD. I even brought them from home so I could baby them on our Thanksgiving Vacation at my dad’s.

I started them with a soak then between paper towels as the seed source said mus
M l lolt be done for their warranty. Here are last night’s photos.

I

Are you keeping them in a warm dark place

Hate to say it Growmie…duds :love_you_gesture:

They’re under two layers of paper towel in a platinum container on my dad’s heated bathroom floor with the lid turned to let in air, but block most of the light.

Here’s the link one.

Too much time is passed for a tapper to pop. I would call it a day. starting over seems to be your best bet

Did you purchase from ILGM? If so, they have a return policy as long as you go by their recommended Germinating Procedure. Why do you have the paper towels in there? I just put mine into a cup of water with nothing else. But yeah, I would check the guarantee specifics from whatever bank you used and try to get replacements and then the next ones into straight water and leave that PT on the roll.

I bought a batch of 15 seeds from ILGM back in July. 11 out of the 15 have failed to germinate. I’m guessing it’s just a bad batch. Maybe they for radiated in a customs stop. Who knows.

But i do know ILGM has the best customer service in the known galaxy and they are taking care of me.

So, contact your supplier and let them know what’s happened.

It’s very frustrating. I started my seed drop on November 9 and I’ve got one plant that is growing very veery slowly. I’m weeks behind schedule and there’s no making it up.

But, it is what it is. Luckily i have a small Ayaan to get me through till the next harvest.

Happy growing!

Try this germination method with a new seed.

3 parts water (room temp)
1 part hydrogen peroxide(room temp)

Soak seed in solution for 12 to 24 hours.
Taproot may show in as little as 8 (its happened to me) If taproot appears in less than 24 hours, gonahead and plant directly into soil.

After 24 hours plant seed in soil about 1/4 inch and cover with a clear humidity dome. Seed should pop soil within 4 days. Do not water the soil directly, but mist the inside of the cup 2 times daily. Your seedlings get their water from the air, not the soil.

Make sure your soil is not saturated. Just a few drop of water into the little 1/4 hole you made will suffice. Keep your temps as close to 80°F as possible for the next few weeks.

If taproot shows plant taproot up. The plant will correct itself underground and as she sprouts she will shed the seed hull and help prevent helment head.

Using this method i have a 99% germination to harvest rate.

As far as your seeds that didnt germ, contact the wonderful folks over at customer service and im positive someone will be happy to replace your seeds. Please give them till Tuesday to respond since it is a holiday weekend.

I’ve been using a method very close to this for several years and I’ve never had the problems I’ve had with this batch of seeds.
I’ve also only ever used ILGM seeds and never had an issue.

ILGM customer service is amazing and taking care of me.

I do this, whether the seed has sprouted a root or not the gemination process will have begun. So into the dirt and let it do the rest there. I get at least 90% to germ. Those that dont I am sure are just duds. I dont even bother to ask for new seed now. Enough sprout to fill my needs.
