Seedling issue please help

Update yall are awesome! They are looking so much better no more curl on these girls! I’m not gonna water until tomorrow night when they light comes back on unless you think another day?

Tomorrow night is probably good. Top looks fairly dry. Glad to help! Gonna be a fun journey! Enjoy the ride!

update! finally back on track they for sure have grown over night and looking alot better and I water around them no them specifically! Yall are amazing

What does it mean if one plants leaves are going to the side?

Just that those leaves are going to the side lol. As long as they’re still green and growing, you should be ok. Could be a draft blowing on it from this way or the other or just a little off center from the light. Still looking good

Do you have any pics of your girls growing? And if you don’t use fox farm nutes what do you prefer to feed with?

I just take aerial shots, but this is like 30 minutes ago. Smaller is an PoisonBerry Auto, not ILGM. Rest are photos. Top left, GDP. Bottom left is Bruce Banner. Top right is Black Widow.

I use straight Canna Coco for my medium, and Jack’s 321 to feed. I just started adding silica today so they can strengthen up. I did use FF Ocean Floor, and the FF liquid and powdered trios. It’s a good line. Just have to flush by the schedule, and supplement CalMag with every watering between feeding, when you get close to flower. I got tired of all the pH’ing and adding 25-30 syringe fulls of nutes. I wasted so much from losing track of how much of what was added.

The photos sprouted 34 days ago, and the auto sprouted like 20 I think? Not much point in tracking autos until they start flowering.

“Just have to flush by the schedule, and supplement CalMag with every watering between feeding” what do mean between feeding because I’m don’t want to over water again if I do this

FF nutrients leave salt deposits in the medium. If you look around here at other growers who use it, and grow in fabric pots, it looks like white mold all over the bags, but it’s salt. FF recommends flushing out the medium evey few weeks, so you don’t run into nutrient lockout. Also, FF flowering nutrients are low on nitrogen, which is a mobile nutrient that helps carry around other vital nutrients. If you feed weekly, and water twice a week in between those feeding, that is when the CalMag helps supply the nitrogen.

Flushing is done about three times throughout the grow and you’re not quite there yet. Calmag, you can start when you’re a couple weeks from flower. Wouldn’t worry about either yet.

I notice she is starting to fold her leaves upward almost like closing a fist?

See what I mean?

At this point in her life not all of her leaves will be perfect, I had a number of the early leaves do different things and she’s still going strong. The leaves folding upwards without droop is usually them praising the sun because they are happy. She will probably do this for the first week or two until her stems strengthen up more.

Update on my GDP she hasn’t grown much but I don’t think I stunted her anything so maybe she is just slow?

My pure indica however has grown much better! I thought she was going to give ne problems but she seems to be doing fine.

It isn’t uncommon to have funky first leaves. Do you have a fan on them? If so, let it oscillate, or point it where it isn’t directly on them. What’s your pH at?

Around 6.5 to 6.8 and yes I have fan pointed straight up but why did the GDP growth slow down?

Most of the time when they slow down, they are throwing down roots. Working on the bottom before building up top.

Should I change my PH I try to vary to take up different nutritions I saw that on a different thread and if made since?

It makes sense, but when you drift your pH, it holds back some nutrients every time. 6.2 to 6.8 is the acceptable window, but there are closer numbers within that window that allow more nutrients. You want to get it as close to a number that allows all in. Nitrogen carries others and if it can’t move around, then other nutrients can’t either. And some may get in, but not in proper amounts. It’s better to find your optimal pH, try to stay there, and adjust if you are having any lockout or uptake issues.
