Seedling getting too tall

Hey man, thank you for your help. The LED arrived, i have no idea of this brand but it was literally the only LED i could find at 100W, all the others were less than 75W and are all cheap stuff. Theres no grid square diagram or anything like that lol but i hope it will do until my HLG arrives towards the end of June.
Do you think it will be ok? I can also run it with cfls if needed since i can control temperature through my air conditioner. Heres a pic with specs. Thanks so much for your time.

Hello, thanks very much! thats really useful to know, all these details are really important to me so thank you very much! I already watered it a bit since it was dry before i fill it with soil, but because i didnt know of this method with the syringe, i gently sprayed around it about an inch but it went close to the stem! i hope i didn’t damage my baby lol. Thanks again!

Not sure. The only useful information there is 8500 lumens and 100 watts. 85 lumens per watt is pretty low for led. Typical t5 fluorescent runs about 95 lumens per watt, and the higher end led grow lights run closer to 200 lumens per watt. If its blurple panel will measure pretty low on photometric output though.

Should be fine, but do try to be sparing with young seedlings especially in big containers. Also, its not ideal to spray water on the leaves unless you are foliar feeding or doing a gentle cleaning of the stomata. Babys dont need either of these things.

Thanks, i avoid spraying water on the plant but i will use a syringe for the next watering. It dries out quickly tho, should i wait for some time until the next watering? or water once its dry whatsoever?

Yeah i didn’t expect anything better than this. Its a cheap LED, i just hope it ll do for now. I also dont have much height to work with, i ll put it around 35cm from the plant which is the highest it can go. Hope it works

Hello guys, i installed the LED and ran it 18 hrs today, it produces a lot of heat but with the air conditioner and the fans i keep it at 24-27 C. The seedling only stretched a couple of millimetres and the leaves are getting wider fast. Is this whats supposed to be happening?
Another concern is, because the light produces heat, it evaporates the water faster, i noticed that around 8 hours after watering (10 ml) the surface of the soil was completely dry. Is this normal? And, should i change my watering schedule according to when the soil dries?
Thanks for all the help guys. I am truly learning a lot from all of you. Thank you

Its normal for the top layers to dry out. You never want the soil to stay saturated bec the roots need oxygen as well as water. So only water again when all the soil is bone dry. One of the experts on here, @Hellraiser , says to get a feel for the cups weight with only dry soil in it. Hold the cup by ur thumb and forefinger and swing it back and forth a little to feel how heavy it is. I know that letting the cup or pot dry out may seem counter-intuitive. But a good soak then drying out kinda mimics what happens in nature. Also, it encourages the roots to grow and search for water. Also remember that it is hard to reverse/fix the damage from overwatering (drowned dead roots) but if the leaves start looking wilty from being thirsty thats an easy fix. For time of day to water, I think early in ur light cycle is preferred. For a lot of really helpful grow information, I suggest u follow Hellraisers journal. Its called Hellraiser grows gorilla glue and other stuff.
