Seedling bending over

So this seedling is about 2 weeks old and i usually have just run the light 24hrs during seedling and veg in the past which i heard can be a less effective if it were ran at 18 and 6. So i started doing the 18 and 6 on this girlscout cookies extreme right away but everyday i open the tent the seedling is bent almost completely over on its side but still looks healthy is it possible that there is some small amount of light penetration happening that im not aware of going on and it is trying to stretch out twords that source? I thought it was the fan in there at first even though its on such a low setting so i angled it completely in the other direction and still the same thing is happening. Also noticed today that it doesnt seem to be folding over in the same direction either everytime so i dont know whats causing this… please help me out.

Hi I’d guess either the root didnt go downwards anchoring the plant and is just running across under the surface, Or its too dry and hasn’t the water pressure it needs.
That’s all I can think of, good luck and hopefully better answers are coming, 'cuz I’m not sure, just offering two possibilities

The soil is still moist under the surface and i had the root pointing downwards when put it into the soil at the start so i just dont understand what could be causeing this but thank you for the reply and 2 suggestions i didnt even consider before but ill check it out and see if that is whats going on here.

Not sure but I would put a popsicle stick or part of a skewer next to it to try to correct it now while it’s young. Definitely want to do it before it starts liking being leaned over. Use a string or a small wire tie like you close produce bags at the store with to keep it straight. Once it starts staying up for a week or two, you should be able to remove it. That’s what I did for mine. Hope that helps.

@kk0234pq this happens to me sometimes, I just prop it up with a stick or plant wire till it establishes itself a bit more as @Darran said. Get those fans going and Silica to start strengthening that stem.

I will try that today for sure cause thats the last thing I need is a plant that is on one side of the tent and the soil in the opposite corner reaching across… Thanks for the reply and suggestion. Hopefully it doesnt just start leaning again once it outstreches the tie down… its crazy I have had a lot of successful grows so far in MN but every crop seems to have a completely new issue that I have never heard of happening and has never happened on any previous grow cycles.. but I guess thats dealing with living things, everyone has there quirks and needs.

So for an update quick i put a scewer down right next to it and tied it to it and after a couple days i removed the tie and scewer and it stood up just fine on its own. She is growing like crazy now. I think it was the light thing though to be honest cause i just switched it back to the 24 hours on now and it hasnt ever tried to lean out at all. The direction it was leaning before was in the dorection of a light leak in my tent that i fixed as well.
