Hey guys i planted two seeds last tuesday one sprouted 3 days ago the other never did so i dropped another what do you guys think on how its looking so far? Should i be worried about those two leaves curling in? I been having an 18 watt led above them the whole time like 8 inches away from dome with a vivosun heat mat keeping them at 75-80°
Day 6 since sprouted and the leaves are still curled in I don’t know if it needs more water I only sprayed it once since sprouted and that was three days ago then took it out the Dome because it was getting too tall and the other seed hasn’t sprouted yet
It looks healthy. Watch that the stem doesn’t get too long it wants to fall over. It can happen when using small lights.
Did you germinate the seeds before putting into pots? If not, don’t give up on the other seed yet either.
Oh okay i wasnt sure because i usually see everyones seedlings all perky and all four leaves pointed the same direction but yeah i had it under a small 18w led and it stretched too tall for the dome so thats when i took it out and just put everything in my tent wit a fan humidifer and heater and its under my enjoyield 2000 set at 100w 36" away what do you think? I didnt germinate them i put two in soil the sour tangie sprouted and the blueberry indica didnt for a while so i dropped another monday and its day 3 nothing yet I dropped a tropicana bannana yesterday in a shot glass and its looking good so far incase the second blueberry doesnt sprout either thanks for the reply
Hey its day 7 it seems like its stopped growing or very slow compared to others at this age and ive notice the top of the soil gets dry quicker and this morning it was bent over a bit so i propped it up but since last night ive noticed the true leaves getting pale and a little yellowish what do you think is the issue? Maybe nitrogen or not enough water? Ive been spraying it a little when i notice the top dry and its just a jiffy pot so really no nutrients in there
Sounds like it’s more than likely ready for a transplant. You’re correct there are no nutrients in the peat pellet. The first cotyledons will die off eventually, so if those are the ones yellowing, don’t be concerned. It was going to happen anyways.
Happy growing!
