I’m returning the Amazon “microscopic “ camera. I did get pics and a video from it, BUT! It took so long for me to get it into focus and then the stability of the image was not good enough for me to trust. $32 will be used towards grain alcohol for my FECO.
I’m gonna use my mag loupe from HAPPY HYDRO. Can’t take photos or videos, but I can get a better view of my trichomes and see when to harvest my plants.

This is the microscope I use. I really love it. When you look at the trichomes, ya’ gotta get in there deep and not look at the sugar leaves! Follow the hairs down to where they come out of the calyx! The trichomes on the sugar leaves will always turn amber first leaving you to think they are ready when they are not… it takes some getting used to, believe me… and I have a hard time keeping my hand steady

Sorry to hear the Amazon cam didn’t work out sis… but as long as you can see them good with your mag that’s all that really matters. I was pretty impressed with the pics you took. The nieces are looking great and I’m sure the tent smells amazing.

My beautiful grow sis! I thank you so much! I returned the camera today and think I’ll hold out on purchasing. I got down deeper and had a picture taken using my phone and mag loupe. I have a video but can’t post it here because the site doesn’t do video (or I haven’t figured it out 
)
I’ll check yours out for my next purchase. I liked the video and photo of the camera, just the instability of the dang thing had me frazzled!
The light on yours look much better Ava the images look clearer too. The closer I got the less light shined on the bud 
Mag loupe is easier and doesn’t hurt my eyes.

I’ve been studying the KNF and watching videos on FFJ. Got some frozen blueberries from October that I want to see if I can get the flavor and nutes out of it using brown sugar molasses to ferment.
@Budbrother and @Mr.Mr.Limelight got me ready to stock my freezer with pork chop bones 
and char them in April or May. Gonna make my own bone meal.
I have three dozen of egg shells to make my Water soluble calcium with. I’m gonna SLAY it in my next grow.

that camera pissed the old man off and made his back hurt if it’s supposed to zoom in that far then the images should not blur or become too unstable for where you can’t take a picture. That tent smells so fruity, diesel , and pepper.

USB Microscope Camera difficult to use, but worth the results.
In my case, seeing the aphid invasion was a shock.
The Aphid Invasion removal treatments, became a learning opportunity.
I cut tester buds, use camera on flat surface, while sitting and drinking a beer.
Love the trichome porn.

I can’t hold my hands steady enough to take clear pictures… so I’m devising a tripod for trich pics this season. Looks like I’ll be using the magnifying app on my phone again.

Since feeding the plants the last time, they have had nute burn and the leaves have been turning either dark green, brown and then yellow, or just yellowing. Today they all got a good amount of runoff with one gallon and a quarter of ph balanced water. They were between 6.4ph and 6.8ph. We finished watering them before midnight. 2/4/2024 stars week 6. This week and week seven are the last weeks to feed. Week 8 should be water only. Oh, and we still have fungus gnats.
I honestly think this yield was smaller than expected. Might be because it’s my first grow and there was much to learn about soil, nute deficiencies, and nute burn. I can hardly wait to see what my wet and dry weight will be!!!

I figured they were done growing today they start week 6 of flowering. This strain info says 8-9 for flowering. I’ll feed them again this week. And then I guess week 7 has to be all water and if they have to complete week 8 it’s all water too I guess.
I’m still getting the hang of the mag loupe on my iPhone. @Caligurl was right! The amber trichomes happen on the sugar leaves first. Going deeper into the bud, it’s still clear and cloudy.

Yeah… I’m glad Caligurl mentioned that too because I was checking sugar leaves last grow just because they were easy to see. I think next two weeks of water only and you should be looking great. Almost there sis… stay at it girl!!

If this starts week 6… I would go water only assuming they may finish in 8. Seeing some amber already. There’s plenty in the leaves for them to get by on now IMO.
