Its time to get those in some paper towels. I just put mine straight into dirt after soaking them for about 18 hours. I have nothing yet. Your ahead of me by a couple days…
Hey @Reed71 ! I’m so excited! Thanks for all of your support on my first grow with Ellie and Coco! I’m excited about these new babies! Waiting on the bud trainer bags to get here, so I just popped them into rapid rooters. Read that you have to add a little soil on top of the hole or take a piece from the bottom of the rapid rooter to cover the hole. Apparently without the gravity of soil on top, the tap root can’t grow down and develop roots because it doesn’t have any to push down from. Without the little soil or rapid rooter piece on top, the seed will pop out of the rapid rooter hole.
This forum is FILLED with some great advice from some experienced growers and also newbies who share their experiences also!
Grow bags will be here today. The hubby is on me! making sure I’m not too obsessive and kill the plants again.
So I had to help the seed (helmets) off the seedlings because I read over on @anon34311147 ’s second grow journal that the seedlings can suffocate if the seed is still on them 24 hours after they sprout through the dirty. Still waiting for the fourth seed that I soaked to pop and hoping that the fifth seed that I just put in the rapid rooter germinates!
I got the helmet off on mine. I only had 2 seeds sprout. The 2 Mowie Wowies. I am soaking 2 more NY Diesels as we speak. A little frustrated here…
Yours are looking great though and your tent is fixed up very nice! You’ve got that female touch. I’ll bet everything you do is very neat and tidy.
at woofer’s photo! So adorable! And your GSCE photos look amazing! Like something out of the magazine! Did you have an indoor grow? What was your dry weight per plant?
Small kit or large kit?
Recommend remove excess filter hose between filter and exhausting motor.
That excess with multiple bends restricts air movement.
Connect filter directly to exhaust motor, if possible.
Could even be on top of tent, external to tent, both, if noise is tolerable.
Nice looking set-up.
Good growing to you.
@Negrita007 ,that was last winter indoors.to hot in the south during summer in my situation.average was about 1/2- 3/4 of a pound.being an outdoor cultivator I wanted try my hand at indoors grow ,these were my first attempt at it.
With all the help from this forum it was a great run, learned a ton.plants were photos.enjoy your grow
Hey @DEEPDIVERDAVE I have the budgrower advanced kit. I had did it that way because it was so hard to attach them together without it. My back was aching ! Thanks so much
I wss just coming here to mention the same thing about the ducting between the fan and filter. I looked at this earlier but it didn’t hit me until now. Its an inline exaust fan. You dont want any obstructions. @Negrita007 it will create an issue…
