I used peat pucks for along time they are fine, or rapid rooters.
Now I just use Amazon nursery pots (biodegradable thin cloth bags) the size of a solo cup with coco. Once I see their roots in the bottom of the nursery pots I pot them up and they grow right through the bags.
Use 2 parts tap water 1 part peroxide.
Soak seeds for 20hr, then put them in a damp paper towel inside a container or a Ziplock.
Place somewhere above room temp in a light proof cover.
Many use their DVR boxes or set just Ontop of the furnace, or in a light proof container inside the grow tent. After a day or two you should be able to drop them in anything.
Use boiling water on the peat pucks it helps sterilize them.
A million thank yous @Nicky. I’m so nervous about getting the first stage right since they’re so vulnerable as babies. Been leaning heavily on you and @dbrn32 for help and have been so impressed with the level of detail and patience. Many others deserving thanks too but too many to name. Ilgm has been amazing so far and I’m telling everyone I know that’s growing or thinking about it. Top notch team here.
No sweat, he’s ussualy pretty busy being the head mod so try to keep that in mind there are many great growers on here.
