Looks fine to me. What, specifically, are you concerned about?
Just the curling upward on the edges of a couple of the leaves. I thought maybe I gave them a little bit too much water last night but the other two aren’t doing that. And I have the humidity at around 85 to 90% is that good or do I need to start coming down on that yet?
Great for growing mushrooms, but not cannabis. High humidity can be tolerated in veg, but that is quite high. I would get it down around 50 to 60 if you can.
Here’s where RH should be for given temps.
I can just turn the humidifier off and it’ll stay around 60 % thanks.!
You have to be careful with higher humidity. It can cause white powdery mildew and mold problems, particularly during flowering.
Plant looks normal to me. Too much water is usually not a problem it’s not letting it dry out before watering again that causes problems. How often are you watering?
Just once every 24 hours right now little less than a 1/4 gallon a time.
Too often they don’t need to be watered every day wait for the soil to dry before watering again. Pick up the pots when they are dry and get a feel for the weight, water it and wait until it feels light before watering again
Thanks I’ll do that!
Pots that size should take 4 or 5 days to dry out. I would can give it more than 1/4 gal of water at a time. That way the entire pot gets wet all the way to the bottom. Roots will follow the moisture but if theres areas in the pot that isn’t getting wet the roots won’t grow there. Essentially making the pot smaller than it really is. Weed does best with a wet/dry cycle. Wet all the time is not good
Awesome thanks for the advice I will change my watering cycling. The pots are very light right now even though I’ve been watering them every day it’s not much and the top soil usually dries out by the end of every day. So is it just best to let it completely dry out now then water heavy in a day or two or water good now and then wait about 3 days to water again? …
Stick your finger down in the soil to the 2nd knuckle if it feels damp, not wet, don’t water. Once you know how light the pot is when its dry you can judge it by weight also
Okay so I waited until the soil was dry like you said then I watered them really good. Why do they look so droopy after I water them???
Also should I be misting them with a water bottle? If so how often?
They should perk up in a little bit unless there’s something else going on. What’s the ph of the water
No need to mist them, especially with lights on. Water droplets are like a magnifying glass and can burn the leaves
The ph of the water is about 6.8 - 6.9
Do you have a ph meter besides the one in the pot. Let me see if I can get some other growers to weigh in @AfgVet @Hellraiser @dbrn32
There’s others but I can’t remember too stoned too early in the morning
They seem to be perking up slowly. One of them while I was watering it tried to fall over propped it back up with some dirt.
