April 25th the taller gold leaf sprouted. The white widows were only hours behind. The 2nd gold leaf didnt sprout until this morning April 27th(could have happened overnight). I did a complete 24hrs with 2 hlg 260 to start off from 18 inches away. I moved it to 30 and dimmed the lights down (to give them a break I was thinking idk its my first grow) while still trying to maintain temp and humidity. I noticed the next time i saw the gold leaf it wilted over and got long. Soil is happy frog for both gold leafs. I thought the only thing i could think of was maybe too much water or too much humidity so I cranked the lights back up and went to bed. The gold leaf seems to be trying to stand. Pics will be attached, also a little concerned about the dark green color on the widows. Any help I would appreciate.
Last 2 are the gold leaf
They look ok, #5 might need a little help.
Sometimes I’ll take a twist tie, poke one end in the soil, and loosely loop the other around the stem for support.
Sort of like this.
You should have a clear dome over them FYI. Go easy on the water; just mist the inside of the dome twice per day. Clear Solo cups work well when they’re little.
I did have them domed and was mist the inside of the dome but with my tent reaching 75 to 80 rh I figured the dome maybe cause to much humidity for the plant?
Seedlings get all of their moisture from the air so watering soil doesn’t help. Misting the dome allows 100% humidity early on when they are trying to establish a root system.
Thanks I understand. I will put the dome back on. So 75 to 80 rh is ideal for the rest of the tent for seedlings?
The range cannabis plants like is between 40 and 70% but that’s for plants. Seedlings want 100% if possible.
Thank you! I was going crazy because sometimes my RH alarm that I have set around 80 and reach close to 90. I would get it back down to the mid 70s within a minute but I thought it was too much when it probably help them sprout that fast
