Hi,
Real quick question. I will scrog for the first time. Does netting come with varying spaces (the size of the open spaces)? If so, what is the recommended dimension for these spaces?
Hi,

Yes they come in various sizes 3 to 4 in and 5 to 6 in I believe I prefer the three to four inch gives you a tighter hole to control the branch a little bit better
I like a rectangular opening as it seems to be easier to thread the plant through each cell. 3 X 5 or thereabouts.
One thing I strongly recommend is: one plant per screen. No two plants will finish at the same time and if you have an issue with one you’ll play Hell getting it out of a screen with multiple plants in it. I built mine to attach to the fabric pots so I could carry them around or pull out of grow space to train etc. Like this:
Outside for pictures.
This!!! I must’ve grown some badass herbs…designed one in my head last night and thought I was a genius.
Man, that’s great.
Thanks, everybody!
Now I have a huge question. What is the optimum pruning when having a skrog set up? My girls are doing great and growing so fast that should I prune, I will be doing so later than optimum.
But I am even unsure if pruning is advised for a skrogged environment. I have no idea!
By the way, with my setup, across the length, I do have two plants per independent area. I don’t think that could have been helped. I am thin and can barely squeeze my way to the back side as it is!
Heck, actually three plants. When harvesting one, the skrog is partial for that plant’s adjacent plants. One across its width and the other across its length.
Oh well…
