So I’m trying to get about $700 back from ebay because I do not thing my diodes are real lm301b diodes… when I look at them under a microscope I can clearly see gold wires…

Can some one with a HLG light that for sure has lm301b diodes please take a picture of the chips with magnification to see if they have a wire in them so I can compare it with mine.
@dbrn32 can probably help with what genuine LM301 series diodes should look like.

From my understanding this us how “flip” chips are made and thus has absolutely no wires in the diode…
Snd my diodes clearly have wires making the connection.
I’m obviously going to have to ask ebay to step in and help get my money back… So I am trying to gather everything I can to show ebay its not legit…
Or if it is legit and I somehow have misunderstood everything I’ve read the past 24hrs .
I need to see a real lm301b chip under magnification to no for sure…

If I can prove to ebay that they are not what was listed, then they will give me a refund no matter if the seller agrees or not…
The lights work, I’ve had the sf2000 since July and it’s done well. But it’s the dang principle ya know 
I’m pretty sure I can get my money back for the SE3000 I just got but idk about the sf2000 because it’s been so long… but I will be buying HLG if I can get my money back🤦♂️. This was bag seed under the sf2000
Nice. Sf has come along way since I’ve been on here I do hear alot about Amazon and eBay stuff not being what it is supposed to be too. Sorry this happened. Hope u get ur money back on both of them. I e been trying with some enfun boards I got a while back and the company emailed me back once I emailed them again with pics and more info and heard nothing since I’ve e en sent them like 4 or 5 emails since and no response back

They claim the people selling fake ones are not them. But im not convinced at this point. I believe it’s the same people and this us just what they say to be able to keep going…

So they never admitted it, but they quit responding to me earlier and they just accepted my refund request just now for the se3000 
I’m still talking to them on reddit about the sf2000 since I got it months ago it’s going be a different story…
But I now need a light for a 3x3.

@dbrn32 is the light guru on here he has helped me out. I have a older HLG 260 that I use in my 3’x3’x6’ tent for over a year and it grows some dense buds.
260 kit would be great for a 3X3 tent or a 300 l if you don’t want to build the kit 300 L comes with the bit more of a warranty but they’re the same light basically different heat sink you build one one comes assembled assembly is very easy I believe hlg also still has a sale going if you hit them up before the end of the month if not I believe dude code will give you a discount 10 or 15%
They are correct. Qb 260 kit or hlg-300 for 3x3.
I’m going keep the se3000 for a 2x2 the sf2000 has done pretty good and it’s really in to big of a space. So maybe the se3000 will rock this little 2x2 
It’s in the 3x3 now.
And if I don’t get the hlg light by end of month I will come black Friday for sure.
I actually need one to put in a 4x6 with a growers choice Roi-e720 also. Its basically a 2x4 space .
Was thinking 300L and 350R or equivalent kits.
If u had a issue with light previously why is it ok to use now ?
