So these 2 plants are supposedly super lemon haze autos. They sprouted the exact same time, they are growing in exactly the same soil and have the same watering and light schedule. The only difference is i topped the tall plant 1 week earlier than the short plant but theres so many differences between the 2 plants. The leaves, the color, everything seems different. Aside of getting mixed up seeds, im trying to wrap my head around this as to why. Any ideas?
When dealing with plants from seed, even in a controlled laboratory they will never necessarily be exactly the same. Outside of a controlled laboratory, any little thing could change your plants. Like the position under the light, or proximity to a fan, closer to a wall, or anything like that.
This however, is most likely due to your timing of the topping. The plant you topped first had more time to recover from the topping when it went into flower and the plant you topped later had less time. Once the plants transition to flower they are basically done growing in terms gaining height and producing more branches. So having the shorter recovery time gave the shorter plant less time to produce and develop the new branching before the plant started flowering.

Seeds are just like ppl no 2 are exactly alike unless identical twins. But you can plant 10 seeds of the same strain and see 10 different varieties. Normally there will be similar builds and bud structure but your always gonna have that one runt and one monster in the bunch. Or occasional mutant. Just my 2 cents
