So my dilemma at the moment is I have two white widow autoflower plants one is 1 week older then the other. The one that has Most white pistils that are white with out much trichomes is Betty Lou she was week older and grew strong, the one with a lot of trichomes and white and orange pistils is S.J She was slow and steady. The whole grow Betty Lou was just so much better but now it seems like S.J is ahead but Betty Lou still growing Thick nugs. Should I be worried about the trichomes not as apparent and the pistis still white I did defoliate a little more on Betty Lou because she Had soooo much foliage but is it just the genetics that S.J is flowering quicker?
I’m not worried about the trichomes being amber or cloudy I was just wondering since one that doesn’t have any trichomes is a week older. Why would that be? Compared to the other one that was a week younger but the pistils are orange and the trichomes are very visible.
Normal variance in plant development. It’s truly nothing to be concerned with, and it certainly doesn’t mean that the end result will be different. It may in fact turn out better. There’s no way to tell at this point.
