Both plants are 8 weeks autos wedding cake, one is white with trichomes, the other no trichomes. What is wrong

Not a thing. They are just expressing their individuality. Plenty of time for them both to get sticky and sugar coated.

What’s you lighting height and intensity? A good amount of fox tailing in those pics

Hps, about 16 inches but constantly moving. Set at 200 and 400 just so they don’t burn
The white trichomes says she is far from ready. Both are loading up. One is just a little slower. Like you said some fox tailing. Those will develop before its done. Now fox tailing say 2 days before chopping will do jack. Not enough time to mature.
The little plant was over 30 days old. When I say little I am talking the 2 leaf one.
She is now this…
She was so slow thst the big one was already flowered before she grew to 3” tall. She did catch up finally. Got to love genetics.
